The nanothermic round brush line is now the only ceramic round brush I use on my clients. When combined with a quality turbo/ionic hairdryer, I have a very efficient and effective styling/drying time with all my clients. The handle and centered weight distribution is great for control and much more ergonomic to use than any other round brush I've used. Plus, the added textured bristles help smooth the hair so I VERY rarely go back in with a flat iron. ***CONSUMER BEWARE: Now, as much as I LOVE these brushes for myself and other stylists, I only recommend the brush for my clients after I've properly taught them how to hold and manipulate the brush (see product suggestions)
While this brush is very good it is also very dangerous. The top of the brush bows out and is plated in fake gold. This plating heats up within a minute of dryer and becomes very hot. When trying to brush hair underneath by the neck it brushes against the neck (barely) and burns. The burn so fast has lasted 4 days. Do not buy unless they fix the top.

Easy styling for med & long hair. Adds shine, takes the frizz out, long-lasting results with good hair products.

Let me just say if this brush was 100.00 dollars I would buy it. I have curly frizzy hair so I like to blow dry it out then straighten it with my flat iron. With this brush I don't even have to flat iron my hair. It completely takes the frizziness out of it with no problem. It lifts my roots and gives my hair volume and shine. It's absolutely remarkable. I have been through so many drug store round brushes and decided to spend a little more to see what would happen. HOLY GRAIL brush! Buy it!!! You won't be disappointed. If you have a problem with this brush pulling or tugging at your hair you need to watch a YouTube video to see how to use a round brush. I have no problem with this brush pulling my hair. Awesome Brush!!

I waited 2 years to buy this. My stylist always used hers on me, but it wasn't until I grew my layers long that I finally caved in and bought my own. OMG ITS BETTER THAN I IMAGINED. I don't understand how people burn themselves on it? It is by far the best round brush and worth every penny! Big fat 3+ inch brush works great on shoulder length or longer hair.

I really like this brush

I've tried round brushes before but I'm just not that coordinated and had a hard time using them on my long hair. I got the 3 1/4" and it was a game changer. I don't have to straighten my hair after anymore and it looks smooth and voluminous. The only downside is the rubber handle, when you're spinning it some hair inevitably gets caught and ripped out. A smoother or wooden handle would be the only thing that could make this product better.

After a really bad hair cut (NOT at Ulta) that resulted in too short hair, I needed a smaller round brush (I have s larger one in this same line for use with longer hair that I love).

My other round brushes eventually break because hair gets stuck between brush and handle. I looked up reviews before buying it, while l was at Ulta store. I used the brush, it was really lightweight and my hair did not get tangled. I would recommend this brush.

I used this brush twice. The second time it broke at the handle. The whole top came off.

Used to dry hair and add volume- beat brush ever! Pro tip from my stylist!

I am very glad I bought this size, after my hair stylist recommended this brand. I have not had the problem of the rubber handle catching my hair. Perhaps because it's the bigger brush? I am using it for a smoother straighter look as my hair tends to have a bit of wave. It does really seem to reduce the drying time too. The bristles are somewhat soft & I like that.

My hair dress uses this on me and I could not get the same effect at home. So I bought my own and love it!

I can't believe the end of this brush got SO hot that it burned my neck!
I've been blow drying my thick wavy hair my entire life never has a brush burned me!!
The irony is the amount of research I did before buying this brush and the fact this is the most I've ever paid for a styling hair brush.
I really hope I'll be able to return it when I go to the store with my pics & complaint.

I generally never spent a lot on brushes but after reading reviews, decided to give a more expensive brush a try. It doesn't quite give the the volume that I'm accustomed to with my previous brushes but adds more of a "soft volume" to my style and tames my flyaways. My hair feels very soft, looks like I just came from salon. I also like the rubberized grip. Very pleased with this brush.

I have fine, thin hair, so I appreciate any volume I can get and try to keep my use of curling irons and straighteners to a minimum. This brush is absolutely amazing. My hair dries in about half the usual time when using this brush with my blow dryer, and it adds a perfect amount of volume. My hair is right at chin length and this brush works great!

I purchased a larger Nanothermic awhile ago for my hair drying. With this smaller barrel I achieve a salon look and finish with the right amount of curl for my fine hair. My beauty routine just got shorter with this brush!

This is the first brush set I've purchased since the drugstore round brushes. I have a lot of hair and it's curly/ beach waves, takes time and energy to dry straight. While I liked all other aspects of these brushes, the silver metal dome came in contact with my cheek briefly~ I now have a scar. Not cool! From reading other reviews it seems there are many ladies walking wounded from similarly placed burns; face, neck, shoulder. I will be returning them for a refund.

This is the first non-drugstore quality hairbrush I've used, and I'm so glad I decided to spend a bit more than usual on a brush. If I have my hair done, my hairdresser is able to dry my hair smooth by taking the time to separate it and dry in sections with a round brush. I don't take that kind of time to section my hair at home, so I always have some frizzy ends, especially in the back where I can't reach well. My hair was not frizzy after using this brush, and I did not dry it in sections, just the way I normally do. It seemed to cut the drying time down a bit as well. With my old brush, when I would grab the hair around my crown to dry through, my hair would often get caught/tangled in the bristles, but my hair slid through smoothly with this brush. I did see another review that said the tip gets really hot, so I had that in mind when using it. I did touch the end of the brush when I was done, and it was warm after about 10 minutes or so drying on high heat. It wasn't so hot that it could leave a mark, but I imagine it would have startled me a bit had it slipped and touched my face. I would be cautious of that, especially if you spend longer than I did drying your hair, but the brush works great. I plan to buy another size.
