Comments about Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque:

My skin is just recently clearing up after years of struggling with acne, so I have to kind of make up for all of the drying products and hydrate. I love this product, especially after flying because the air in planes is so drying. Every time I travel to see friends and family, I do this mask and have them try it -- everyone loves it. IF you're new to the brand, this is a great start to seeing how amazing Dermalogica is.

Comments about Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque:

Got this after my aesthetician used it in a facial and I love it. It has become a staple in my bathroom. I subscribed to a sheet mask service for a bit to try something different, but am going back to this. Smells lovely, feels like my face is getting a drink and I love to use it after I use the Dermalogica Exfoliating Mask to make sure my skin doesn't dry out.
I have dry, sensitive skin and this product has really helped.

Comments about Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque:

This mask may smell like paint but you know what that's only for a second! Think about the pros of this. Yes it's spendy but it only takes a pea size amount for your entire face.! It not not brightened my skin it hydrated and refreshed everything all in one. I've tried just about everything also and am not afraid to spend the money for a great product. I understand some may not be able to but the age smart kit may be a beginners way to go!

Comments about Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque:

Love Dermalogica and use the dynamic skin recovery moisturizer, primer and super rich repair every day. I tried this product and my face immediately felt like it was burning. I left the mask on for less than 10 minutes and had some redness when I removed it. I will not be using this product again, unfortunately. It seemed like a decent product and smelled good, felt nice to the touch, but really sent my rosacea into a tizzy. I reviewed the ingredients and it could be one of the acids or unfamiliar extracts, maybe something intended to exfoliate...nothing super obvious though. I won't be using it again.

I always use a coupon at ulta but this is a product I would spurge in even without a coupon. It actually does exactly what it says it does. I have oily skin and acne so my skin dries out trying to clear it and this changed my life. I had results after just one use. Highly recommend even though it's a more expensive item. I've used several Peter Thomas Roth masks but this one tops it! Great buy! Wish I had bought it a year ago.

                    • Q:

I am 23, fair skinned, and recently over the last few months have been struggling with mild cystic acne. I am currently using the precleanse, special cleansing gel, and daily microfoliant. I have yet to find a moisturizer that doesn't clog my poors. I like the skin smoothing cream but it made me break out. I tend to be more normal to dry. I am also about to try out the skin clearing booster to help with my acne. My skin looks so dull to me from all the inflammation and redness from my break outs that it makes the mild acne look worse than it really is. I am looking for a mask that will nourish my skin and bring it back to life and help it heel from this flare up I've been having. Would this be the mask for me? What regimen do you advise? Thank you.

                        Hello Jacque:

Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. We recommend that you use Active Moist, it is oil free and will help to smooth and improve skin texture. We also suggest that you use Breakout Control, it helps to prevent and clear existing acne with out the drying effects of benzoyl peroxide. For a masque we highly recommend that you consider using Skin Hydrating Masque instead of the Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque. It will help hydrate, calm and restore your skin it is for all skin conditions.

Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. We advise you to use Skin Hydrating Masque instead it is a refreshing, moisturizing masque to remedy dry, stressed skin. It will help to restore skin's protective barrier. You may also use the Ultracalming Serum Concentrate underneath your moisturizer to reduce sensitivity, redness, and irritation. This will help to calm and restore your skin especially after having your skin treated with a chemical peel.

Some people have recommended to use it overnight and even a beautician said so too. I was wondering what are the pros and cons of this? I have used this before as 15 minute. Are the results the same or would I get added benefit for leaving it on longer?

                        A:

Thank you for your inquiry. This masque is meant to be left on the skin for 10 minutes and removed with water. For some with extremely dry skin it can help to temporarily intensely hydrate and moisturize the skin when left on over night. There really aren't any cons except maybe getting product on your pillow case and it getting stained orange.

Thank you for inquiry. Skin Refining Masque would be a better option for your oily skin type. It will help to pull oil out of your follicles and regulate sebum production.
