Most Helpful Positive Review Looks natural but better I am a natural redhead whose eyebrows have always been brown and darker than my hair. My hair has darkened as I aged and is currently a ginger auburn shade, though it looks more orange toned in natural sunlight. The warm brown auburn brow mascara perfectly matches my natural eyebrow color. I don't wear much makeup, so filling in my brows is an easy way for me to define my face without much effort. In the photo I've uploaded you can see I still look natural, my brows are just slightly fuller looking. I would still need to pencil the very end since no hair grows there but for the rest of my brow this provides the right coverage. I would be curious if a slightly blonder shade may look a bit softer. I'll have to look at the colors next time I'm in a store. If there's anything strawberry blonde or a warm lighter brown I'd try that too. I received this product complimentary of Maybelline. Most Helpful Critical Review Lacks control and precision application I like applying brow gels like this to help set, shape, and tint my brows followed with a brow pencil to define and fill. The formula is very wet and the brush laid so much product in one place that there was no blending this out. It also didn't sit on my brows as much as it tinted the skin underneath. It really looked like a mess and even though I didn't go in for a second dip for my other brow, it still deposited way too much product. I don't know what they did differently if the commercials, but I didn't feel like there's much control or precision in the application with this. I've also tried the ELF, Covergirl, and Almay versions, but unfortunately for my wallet none are as good as the Benefit one. I'm returning this product to my local grocery store.

I decided to try a different brow gel product since my favorite one (boy brow from Glossier) is on the pricey side. After my first application, I literally started to dislike this product. Way too pigmented and it only left me with messy eyebrows. Product made my eyebrows hard and crusty. I actually threw mine in the trash this morning.

I decided to try something new after using Lime Crime's Bushy Brow gel (such a great gel by the way). And sadly, this was not a good choice. The product is very runny and spreads horribly. I get dark patches in one part of my brow and light patches in the other, no matter how many times I go over the brow evenly. The product clumps the hairs together too. I now have to go through my brow hairs slowly so as not to clump up the product. It's unfortunately a let down.

I thought that I had about 3 hairs where my eyebrows should be. This product tinted what is actually there and I have eyebrows. Last all day. Love it.

I agree with a lot of the reviewers that this goes on like mud, feels crusty and there's way too much product on the brush. I saw that some people wipe the excess off and I'll have to try that, but that's a waste of the product. I liked Maybelline Brow Drama much better.

I was tired of having to fill in my brows everyday just for work. This works for like a tiny and controls the crazies. This stuff is so easy to use and saves me time, which is a plus for me.

the brush tip is awful and it always has WAAAY too much product on it. I have to wipe it off like 10 times before I can use it. makes my brow hairs super crusty and doesnt even hold them up.

Great for keeping brows in shape without over coloring them. I have dark brows, so too much color and I look like Oscar the Grouch. I have sensitive skin and this does not irritate me at all.

I wore it to work and half way through the day I noticed these little spots on my eyebrows, it was the product flaking off and clumping. I even tried one day with setting spray and one without to see if that was it. Nope. I got the medium brown shade, I was trying to find a dupe for the benefit one cause its so expensive for how small it is. But I guess you get what you pay for...

Ok - so like a lot of people I was very into the glossier boy Brown - partly because of the brands aesthetic - oh boy no more. I felt like with boy brow I had to constantly or reapply because it wouldn't keep my eyebrows up and fluffy it would just coat them. THIS is the brow gel of my dreams and I have used everything high end and this is still the best. It makes your eyebrows look like you have had them laminated and it keeps them that way all day even through sweating. I run 2 miles a day and my eyebrows look just as good when I come back as they did when I leave- honestly cannot say enough good things about it.

After I stroke it on my brows, I will fill in empty spots with an angle brush. Sticks well on dry skin and holds up well all day on my brows! Very impressed!

I love maybelline but this was a no for me. The brush made it hard to even pick up product, it went on patchy, and it flakes. Definitely wouldn't purchase again.

This is... fine. Brow drama was way better than this. I don't know why drugstore brands are constantly discontinuing things to launch the same products with nuanced differences.
I have very thick brows that move around a lot. I have a bald spot in my arch on the left side and a small spot in the right side. Brow drama was perfect. It had excellent hold and the darkest shade added just enough color.
This one I feel like I need to do a few coats and there's barely any hold, and it isn't that pigmented. It works, but like.. it's just ok.
I repurchased brow drama countless times until they discontinued it, but I won't repurchase this. It's nothing special.

Looks great when you first put it on but comes off so easily. Even just when my face gets slightly sweaty it smears off into weird bead like clumps across my forehead. Never had a brow gel do this before and I've always been able to keep it on for two days but this I have to redo everyday because it gets chunky and smears. Will not be buying again

If there is any chance of rain or you may possibly sweat, this product won't work for you. The color, brush, and formula seemed great at first. Then I had the nerve of wearing this outside on a hot day. It's not so surprising that it didn't hold up, but It removed in the weirdest way: clumps of product under my brows. It was pretty gross.

Bought this and love how to keeps my brows in place-I like my brows a bit untamed and it does just that-however it also keeps them tamed, need be. The only negative....it's a bit hard to fully wash off. Would definitely buy again!
