Most Helpful Positive Review Bold But Subtle I really liked this ColorStay Cr?me Eye Shadow in Honey because its so creamy. This color is not one I would normally wear on a daily basis but its so pretty I needed to see how well it looked on my skin tone. What I first noticed it has some shimmer. Though the color is honey its more of a yellow gold. I swiped it once with the brush which is included in the packaging. It goes on very light and subtle but applying more swipes, the color can become more bold and noticeable. I love this because it means I was able to wear it during the day for work but also for a night out and create a more bold look. I love that it doesn't have any fragrance to it and being one with sensitive skin it doesn't cause any skin irritation either. I like the brush it comes with but I preferred to use this eye shadow with my finger tips better. Makes it easier for me to apply.
Most Helpful Critical Review Some shades are awesome, others eh. I have the shades pistachio and caramel. Caramel is AMAZING and a near dupe for the Tom Ford bronze duo. It stays on all day, no creasing, and can hold a lighter highlight on top of it. It also blends into a transition shade nicely.
Pistachio, however, is JUNK. At 11a, after applying my makeup around 7a, there was almost nothing left. And it was all bunched up in the creases of my eyelid. I used a primer and my milk pencil to draw out the color but this still happened.
Unfortunately for me the bad outweighs the good. I also have black currant so we'll see how that holds up.

I was looking for a brown cream eyeshadow without committing to a Palette of colors that I won't use, or two many colors. This worked out nice. The tiny brush inside is just ok, so I apply the shadow with one of my own larger brushes. However, if you brought this with you in your make-up bag and needed a touch up the brush is great to have! I use the Liquid NYX primer and I spray some in my palm and apply to the eyelids. You need a couple of passes for coverage which is good for me. I have tried other creams and it goes on thick and hard to spread. You can layer this with a powdered shadow if you like. The jar unscrews!
The formula is fine, but the color?? 2
Happywithpurchase from Chicago
The formula is fine. When the cap is opened, the color looks the same as what is shown through the glass on the bottom. However, once the brush or a finger is dipped into the product, the color became darker in the container at the touch points and was also the darker color on the finger and brush. So it ended up not being the color I thought I was getting.

Great Cream Eyeshadow 5
Kristen from Birmingham, AL
It goes on smooth and silky. Wears well throughout the day. I am 46, so I am always looking for eyeshadow without a metallic finish.
Love it! 5
Jen from Milwaukee
I use with a primer. Am not having any issues with staying power or creasing. Love the pigmentation. It comes with a little brush which is easy to use, though you could just use your finger. Not irritating or drying. I bought two colors and love them both.
Colors not accurate 1
Addie from California
I purchased the color espresso and the color guide showed it to be darker than the photo but the photo is accurate, it's a light brown that barely shows up on any skin with even a hint of color.
Amazing Crème Eyeshadow!!! 5
Grace from United States
This eyeshadow is gorgeous, and lasts all day without flaking or fallout! It's comparable and possibly even better than my Mary Kay crème eyeshadow!
Fantastic value for the money 5

So easy to glide on. Only using this light color as a base and highlighter. I have not tried any other Revlon eye cream color yet. FYI- I also purchased the Ulta cream pencil shadows. I bought a base and 2 dark colors. Ended up returning the 3 Ulta cream shadows. The Ulta brand felt dry and did not glide on well- even with an eyeshadow primer.
The Revlon brand had a good color consistency. Really happy with my Revlon purchase- big bang for the $$
Too shiny 3

Had no idea this would be so shiny. Easy to apply but a shiny mess, couldn't hate the look more
praline is a dupe for mac vintage selection 5
sea from New York, New York
I was so pleasantly surprised by how good this is. I tried out praline because the shade looked similar to vintage selection from mac (which is one of my favorite eye bases) and they are pretty much identical shades. I think this one also lasts long and applies smoothly. The little brush it comes with is pretty good, but I generally like to apply it with my elf eyeshadow brush.
My absolute favorite cream shadow 5
Lillixiii from New York, NY
I don't think I could do my makeup without this. I own 3 shades, but my favorite by far is 705 creme brule. The shade is a pale yellow champagne and it goes perfectly as a base under any eye look. I have naturally dark lids so I like this shade to add some natural brightness. The stand out for these is the formula though. They last all day, don't crease, are smooth and leave an even finish. I have tried many high end cream eyeshadows and these blow them out of the water. Please don't ever discontinue!
So disappointed 1

This is definitely no a product for older women with crepey eyelids. It shows every imperfection and line. I was so excited to try it and now I am just stuck with it. This keeps happening with drugstore cosmetics.
Spectacular 5
Deedle from KY
Espresso is a perfect neutral eye shadow for those with blue/red skin undertones, Many browns make me look tired, but this one is perfect. It's not sticky, it doesn't crease, and it's subtle. I love it.
Creme Brûlée 5
Carrie K. from Mayville, Mi
Goes on easily with handy included brush. The brush design is useful and clever. Lasts all day - no under-eye residue! Stays in place! Just the right amount of shimmer!
Nice for an easy natural look 4
KL12 from St. Louis
I bought Creme Brûlée and Praline. Praline is a really pretty sort of pinkish champagne color. They both apply well and look nice. I've used them on my lids/crease with a powder shadow nearer my brow bone and that has worked fine. I don't think they would be the easiest to blend with powder shades though. The included brush is small and works well. There is a really faint odd smell when I open them, but it doesn't linger. I do feel like the packaging could have been a tad smaller.
Doesn't transfer - highly recommend 5
Makeup lover from WI
I have this in creme brûlée. It's the perfect champagne satin/shimmer for the lower lid and doesn't transfer around to my upper eyelids like almost all powder shimmer shadows. I'm 40 yrs old and use mostly matte eyeshadow and don't want something shimmery transferring all over my eyelids and this is it! It blends on super easily with the finger, doesn't look patchy, and stays put all day. Doesn't look too blingy or glittery. I can also apply it over the top of a powder shadow with no problems. I've had it for several months now and it's not drying out yet. Definitely worth purchasing over higher end products.
Black currant! 5

I like applying it with my fingers for a more grungey, less perfect looking makeup look! The color is beautiful and the formula is easy to work with.
Not for me 2
Goleta Mom from Santa Barbara
I purchased this product after listening to some great reviews on YouTube. I found that I couldn't get this to apply consistently on my lids. I was applying it with my finger.
Best lasting cream eyeshadow 5
Makeupgirly from IL
No need for a brush use your finger to spread it and keep it warm give it a little dusting of powder you're ready to go for the day
Great find! 5
Carol from Grand Rapids, MI
I was excited to find this cream shadow after my eye doctor cautioned against wearing powder shadow because I am suffering from a severe dry eye condition. This shadow is beautiful! I bought it in two colors and am planning on getting a few more shades.

GORGEOUS! 5
Wendy from San Francisco
I bought chocolate, espresso and caramel. They are gorgeous together. I wish I wound have found these years ago. It's perfect for work and evening and so easy to apply. I don't like powder shadows as they always seem to get in my eyes. Please do not discontinue these colorstay creme shadows. The colors are perfect.
my new favorite cream shadows! 5
etherealfire from Lake Arrowhead, CA
I purchased 3 shades: Caramel, Creme Brulee and Praline. Soft, gorgeous, creamy neutrals that are easy to apply and give a polished but subtle eye look. Love them all!
