My mom has worn only Cinnabar for many, MANY years. Every year my dad would go shopping for her Cinnabar at Christmas. Eventually, it became a tradition for him and I to go shopping for her Cinnabar. Now, I must purchase it for him to give to her, as he is unable to go. Each year I fear that I will discover it is no longer available, but I continue to find it. I am aware that the formula is not the same as the original, nor the scent. However, I still hope that Estee Lauder does not discontinue this perfume. It is not just a fragrance, it is part of our family story.
Have purchased Cinnibar Eau de Perfume for 25 years.
I have had men/women ask what perfume are you wearing, where did you get it, and the cost. I find Ultra has the best deals.

I bought this based upon the scent notes without smelling it first and I absolutely love it. Although many like to call the "vintage" Estée Lauder perfumes "old lady," to me they are classic perfumes that stand the test of time. They smell niche and unexpected, especially compared to the overly floral and saccharine offerings that abound on the market today. If you don't want to smell like everyone else, this is a great one to try. It opens with a strong citrus blast that warms into flattering notes of amber, spices, and sandalwood, and the lasting power is great. Because I liked this one so much, I also purchased Aliage and Azuree and quite like them all.

WHAT happened???? This fragrance used to be intoxicating in the 80's-early 90's. The formula changed and im horribly sad. Please bring back the old potion that so many of us loved. This smells like watered down youth dew now.
