Oh Cinnabar, where gave you gone?
I've just received a bottle of my beloved Cinnabar after not having it for years and ugh how terrible! This is NOT the same perfume I fell in love with 30 years ago. This is like if a diluted bottle of Youth Dew fell into a box of baby powder. So awful. When I first discovered Cinnabar it was on an item of clothing given to me and I searched a long time before I discovered it again at a perfume counter, finally happy to have this wonderful scent of my own. But I don't understand why they would want to change a decades old perfume! Cinnabar was uniquely appealing and beautiful. It had a special exotic scent quality in it that was unmatched and extremely attractive. Lovers of the old scent know what I mean. It is now missing from this new formula. I kind of hate it because it's not at all what I expected. The colour looks diluted as well. Why did you kill our beloved Cinnabar?

This fragrance has been sold for 60+ years and the other fragrance companies still cannot make a sexier scent! I put this on and the world is mine! I love it! Please keep in inventory forever! I miss the fragrance set with powder and lotion. But ladies, if you like feeling sensual and mysterious, Cinnabar is your fragrance.

I have worn Cinnabar since I was 14 years old, it was literally a part of who I am. The new version is just awful, it's nothing like the original. Please, please, bring back the original version of Cinnabar! Breaks my heart that it's gone..😢
Immediate return for me
to each their own but this is not for me, it smells old, like a fragrance that has been sitting for 30 years and a percentage of alcohol has evaporated. I've never had to scrub a scent off but I've had it on for 10 minutes to "give it a fair shot" and I'm about to get a full shower. My excitement has turned to sadness 😔 try to sample it somehow first.
