Cannot Stand the Overpowering Scent (Which Stays Strong)

Redken One United, if unscented, would probably get 4 or 5 stars from me. I thought it did a decent job of detangling and softening my hair. However, the scent is super-strong, and as usual when I can't stand scents, it lingers all day, so you get whiffs of it when moving your head hours later. It is headache inducing. The scent actually reminds me of a very popular designer fragrance, but a plastic-y/artificial/cheapened version. OK, I went through my perfume samples and found it -- it smells like MAC Turquatic (which is NOT for everyone!) but a simpler, more plastic-y version of it. There is no need for hair products to smell like this -- ugghhh!
