We recommend that first-time Dermalogica users visit an authorized skin treatment professional for a client consultation in an ULTA store.

Comments about Dermalogica UltraCalming Serum Concentrate:

I was using Exuvience's Ultra Calming Serum, which also works great. But this product smells better, works better, and for a more reasonable price.
I combine the "Ultra Calming" products with the "Age Smart" products and couldn't be more pleased.

Comments about Dermalogica UltraCalming Serum Concentrate:

This product was recommended during my Dermalogica Skin Bar service & I LOVE it! I tend to be red in my cheek area all the time & this product really calms my skin down to make my makeup look great. It's a nice lightweight formula & never feels greasy. It really soothes. It's pricey for the small bottle, but a little goes a long way. I use religiously morning & night and a bottle lasts near 3 months.

Comments about Dermalogica UltraCalming Serum Concentrate:

I am the biggest fan of Dermalogica now that I have Rosacea and started using the Sensitive Skin Products. It helps calm the redness in my face and it is just an amazing product. It is lightweight and smells good. I use the Ultra Calming Barrier Repair after this. It works perfect together. I highly recommend!

Comments about Dermalogica UltraCalming Serum Concentrate:

My favorite thing about this is that it's so so light. You don't feel like your skin is suffocating after using it yet it does the magic. A little goes a long way. I love that you could add it to your favorite product and get benefits of both. I recieved this product complimentary for review

This moisturized and plumped my skin up nicely but over a few weeks, it caused irritation (stung my sensitive face every time I used it.) Maybe one of the botanical ingredients didn't agree with my skin. The Ultra Calming Cleanser was the only product of this line that I was able to keep and sustain using.

I recently had a bad reaction to a waxing on my face, and have experienced a terrible break out and skin irritation. Could this product help soothe the reaction I am having? i.e. break out, red bumps, ingrown hairs, redness etc. I was using a clearing product with salicylic acid but I think it is just making things worse!

I've been using the Normal to Oily line since I have oily, acne prone skin and it works wonderfully, but lately the skin on my cheeks/nose has felt more sensitive, dry, and a bit red from the harsh weather this winter. Would you recommend I add the Calm Water Gel, the barrier defense booster, or something completely different to my skin care routine?

                  Hello
I have just started two prescription treatments for acne scars and hyperpigmenation. It is a high potency Vit C in the a.m. and a Retinol at night. I don't plan to start using these daily as I am afraid of irritation. I am looking for a serum to use on the "off" days (something gentle to soothe and hydrate) as I like to apply serums. Would this be a good choice or would you recommend something else?

                    Hello Lexi:

Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. Ultracalming Serum Concentrate provides enough hydration for oily to normal skin conditions. It helps to calm and restore sensitive skin. This provides enough hydration that you may not need to use a moisturizer on top. The texture is not heavy or greasy in texture.

Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. The Ultra Calming products will help including Ultracalming Concentrate, however you will not see significant improvement from dilated capillaries. Laser treatments would be the most beneficial option and then use Ultra calming products for after care.

Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. The Special Clearing Booster may irritate very sensitive skin. Since you are experiencing redness we advise you to consider using the Breakout Control instead. It is gentle, effective, controls and prevents breakouts. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
