Comments about Biosilk Silk Therapy Original:

I have major problems with split ends. I haven't found anything that prevents them, but this hides them better than any other product I've tried. It also smooths my frizz better than anything else, and I like not having to use a blow dryer or straightening iron on my hair.

Comments about Biosilk Silk Therapy Original:

I'm AA. My hair stylist used this on my hair. I couldn't believe how shiny and soft my hair was. I had been using Mizani but my hair was still dry and not shiny. I noticed when I used more to get the shiny smooth look. My hair was greasy and needed washing. Not so eith biosilk. I use a dime size every other day and my hair is never greasy. Very shiny and soft. I love this stuff. Expensive but worth it.

Comments about Biosilk Silk Therapy Original:

Pour a little pea size puddle in the palm of your hand. Rub this over four fingers, work into hair. Learn not to use too much, or you'll
feel like an oil slick duck. Not greasy to your touch, this is silk!! Use this correctly, and damage looks like healthy hair. It works for me. I do not use argan oil or other oils for hair. I have naturally oily skin, scalp, and long damaged hair.
Yet I get along with THIS product!

Comments about Biosilk Silk Therapy Original:

It gives a beautiful shine and feels silky on healthy hair. Also, the smell is a bit too strong, perfumey. It's a respectable product but on damaged hair, it does not do much especially for the price.

We recommend you trying the new Tea Tree line, which has Tea Tree, Peppermint and chamomile in it to soothe and refresh the scalp. It is specially formulated to treat a multitude of scalp problems, including dry and itchy scalp. Remember when using it that the shampoo should sit on the scalp for 3-5 minutes before rinsing and applying conditioner. If you would like to try a serum as well, there is one in the Tea Tree line that will promote healthy shiny hair!

                    • Q:

I have fine hair that tangles a lot, and dry, damaged perm. Will this product help the tangles and perm damage? And will it give hair some shine? I have been using the Lanza Healing ColorCare Trauma Treatment, and would like to try something else. I know not to use much or they can weigh my hair down. I only use on my wet hair as a leave in, and dry my hair with a hair dryer with a diffuser, and scrunch to keep perm curls. I don't want to lose the curl from my perm, only condition and help any dry damage, and help make my hair shine.
                      Thank you,
                      C. G.

                        A:

Biosilk Silk Therapy aids in the protection and retention of moisture in hair as well as skin. We have heard from those who use it as an all-over body moisturizer and others who find it great as a cuticle moisturizer. For use on skin, we recommend that you apply it to areas that are prone to dryness (i.e., hands, feet, elbows, and knees). Because the serum is of a thicker viscosity, it may prove a bit heavy as an everyday facial moisturizer.
