Extremely disappointed!!!
When I saw this in the store, I got excited, as I have an oily t-zone. Got it home, wore it for 2 days and was extremely disappointed. Not only did it not mattify my face, but I was oilier than ever!!! Where I usually blot my face once a day, I was blotting the entire day to rid my face of the oil. ...

Made my skin break out. Came out of tube a clear liquid
I opened this and it came out of the tube clear followed by a very runny black substance. I thought it was for shine control when in actuality it made my skin more oily and my face started to break out after 3 uses. It's the only thing new I've added to my skin routine. Would not suggest this or this brand at all. Anything I've ever purchased, trying to give them a chance, has never been good.
So smooth
This primer goes on smooth, not sticky or oily. It's charcoal black when you put it on but even with the fairest foundation it disappears. It makes all makeup go on creamy smooth and blends better. No smell from this product either. Will buy again.
The Holy Grail for Oily Skin
My oily, acne prone skin is extremely sensitive...I had heard the hype about this product but was sure that an affordable matte would break me out. My sister-in-law is an esthetician and makeup artist, and has never steered me wrong when it comes to skincare. She swears by the stuff, especially for clients who dance or make workout videos and have to keep makeup set. I use it daily and can't believe I ever lived without it.

Game changer
I read a lot of reviews about this and I ultimately decided to get it because it was part of a deal where it ended up free— let me just say this. I will buy this until they stop making it. This completely changed my makeup game. I am super oily in my tzone and it ruins my makeup after an hour—but this primer changed that. I was floored by how well it works for how cheap it is. I love a lot of Nyx products but not everything works for me. This did. And i dont have any issue with it leaving a black hue or residue on my face— i wear it without anything on top of it most days. I think people may be applying too much or not blending enough. I also use my clean fingers to disperse it across my face. I hope this helps!
