Most Helpful Positive Review Works Well! I used this product for the first time 3 days ago and it worked as is should. The instructions were easy to follow but I had also seen a few tutorials on YouTube which simplified the process even more.
Make sure you're are doing this process over your sink because it will leak a bit while appyling the foil on your fingers. I started with the application on my left hand (I'm right handed) with the exception of my thumb to simplify the application of the foil on my right hand, then did my right hand and thumbs. I left the foil on for 15 minutes and once I removed the foil the polish just came right off. I only had to use the orange wooden stick on one finger but it was very minor.
I did try this process once again that same night because I wanted to re-do my nails because I was eperimenting with "art" and didn't care for the end result but the second time around I used regular foil and a cotton ball and I found that using my own foil and cotton ball was easier to use and apply...it also had a better grip on my finger nails so I didn't have the fear of the foil falling off.
Either way I think the product works well and its a good starter kit. Next time I'm going to stick to just purchasing the Erase gel nail polish remover bottle and use my own foil and cotton balls.
Most Helpful Critical Review The kit is a great idea in theory Kit included foils with cotton squares attached so when adding the acetone made it a wet mess. The foil was then hard to wrap. It would be better to get acetone, cotton balls and foil.

It's an awesome kit, has everything I need
Terrible, did not work 1
Allison from Indiana
This was absolutely terrible. It took three applications, all the foils plus more of my own, and an hour and a half to remove my polish. I would never recommend this product to anyone as it is a waste of money.
Did not work as advertised 1

Followed instructions to the letter but the solution barely softened the gel polish. Tried multiple times to no avail. Waste of money and time. Should have just gone to the salon to have them remove the polish.

I liked not having to go to a salon, but it did take a lot longer. Because of the problems mention above, I had to redo it twice. Maybe it would work better to use pure acetone instead of the solution provided.
Don't waste your money 1

I wore these for at least a half and hour and polish would not budge at all. Left is on a little longer and only had mild success. Trying to scrape off the polish probably did excess damage to nails. Probably better using your own 100% acetone cotton balls and foil.

I bought this for a no chip removal and it was just as effective as cotton balls, acetone and foil. It did not remove the polish in 15-20 minutes. I ended up leaving it on for 45 minutes and I still had to scrape it all off and some was left behind, so I had to soak a second time.
Does not work 1

Purchased the remover kit and the starter set-remover kit did not take off anything needed to get regular nail polish remover- as for the starter kit all worked well till the top coat - turned orange and white sticky lumps to the pink polish- both are going back ASAP
I wouldn't buy this product again 1

This product didn't take off the gel nail polish. I had to put it on my nails three times. After the third time, I ended up soak my nails with regular nails polish that had acetone in it. The nail polish remover worked better than the kit.

I attempted to use this horrible product and all it did was ruin my nails!
Love it! 5

The instructions say leave the gel on for 10-20 minutes but I leave the foil on anywhere from 30-40 I order for an easier removal!

Needs detailed instructions! 1

Wanted to give this a try. Did not give enough detail and it was horribly lumpy and then I found I needed something special to remove it. Should have said on the box that it wasn't included!
Worked wonders 5

I have used the foil and cotton ball but they didn't seem to work as this product did. I would do one hand at a time and leave it for 15 minutes and the nail polish came of easily when I scraped it off as instructed on the directions. I am sold!

I picked this kit up to remove my gel manicure at home rather than go back to the salon. I had high hopes, and maybe I wasn't doing it right, or you need two people to do it correctly. The foils with the cotton pad attached wouldn't stay on my fingers and felt bulky. I never did get all 10 of them on my fingers. I'd get a few on and one would fall off. Put that one back and another one would fall. Finally gave up and threw the used foils away. I might try it again some day using regular pieces of foil and cotton balls.
LOVE EVERYTHING RED CARPET!!! 5

I work for a surgeon and bartend, so I constantly wash my hands. This stayed on chip free for at least 12 days, I changed it because I wanted a color change. Love Red Carpet

It was a challenge to do this myself, but I made it work. Came out great. Saved me a trip to the nail salon.
Not worth it 2

Do yourself a favor and have your gels removed professionally. This wasn't worth the time, effort, or result. I spent several hours trying to get it to work, following the directions over and over. Now my nails are trashed and still not 100% clean.
I would recommend this product 5

Bought this product because I figured it was worth a shot. This worked so much better than I imagined. It was worth every penny. I left it on for 15 minutes & my gel polished came off effortlessly! It's much easier to do one hand at a time than to try to do both at the same time. I'll definitely be buying this product again.
This stuff rocks!! 5

Thie foils wouldn't stay in place on fingers. Didn't work well
Works just like the box says! 5

I bought this to remove my gel nails. I am trying out doing my own nails and I hate the removal process of gel nails. I should say I used to hate it. This product did exactly what it said In 15 minutes I had one hand done. If I would of had someone to help me I could of had all 10 fingers done. I say 15 minutes because it was a first time use and I had to read etc. There is a little prep work of filing off the shine, and then you put the foils on and boom- 10 minutes you are peeling the gel off. I was impressed. Will never do this at a salon again!
