When I first started using this cleansing balm, I'm not going to lie, I thought that it may be just a little too rich for my oily-leaning combination type skin. However, I have now come to very much appreciate it for its gentle, soothing nature. When I first rinsed it off I felt like it left a very ...

Very watery or oily and doesn't smell very good
I'm not sure if I misunderstanding the point of this or what but it's really weird. It's a very thin cream and I got it because of that apple butter description, but it has a funny, almost funky oil smell. I've used it a few times but I'm struggling to continue to use it because it just leaves my sk...

Complimentary from origins. Obsessed with this cleansing balm! I love that it takes off my makeup so easily literally melts my makeup up right off! i love that it's not an oily cleanser it's more of a milky lightweight liquid that spreads easily on the skin.

When I first started using this cleansing balm, I'm not going to lie, I thought that it may be just a little too rich for my oily-leaning combination type skin. However, I have now come to very much appreciate it for its gentle, soothing nature. When I first rinsed it off I felt like it left a very fine moisturizing layer on my skin, but after my skin had dried I was simply left with a cleansed yet hydrated feeling. I almost feel like, with my skin type, this cleanser is so nourishing that I could skip the moisturizer; at least with the humid, summertime weather that I'm currently experiencing. I also wasn't sure if this cleansing balm would play well with my acne-prone skin, but I'm happy to say that they get along quite nicely. In fact, I have been using an acne-treatment that is a bit drying and actually causes my skin some peeling, but this cleanser has been really helpful at mitigating its drying effects. To conclude my thoughts, I think that this cleansing balm is perfectly suitable to almost any skin type, however, I do feel that it would work especially well for those who have drier skin types. I also think that this is a product that can work for any time of year, but would be particularly wonderful for the drier autumn & winter months when, more often than not, our skin could use a little extra nourishment. So, with all that being said, I do enjoy this cleansing balm very much and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a deeply nourishing, moisturizing cleanser.
