Even on sale this candle did not hold value. It was pretty. But there was very little scent and absolutely no throw. No one in my household could tell it was lit. It went liquid quickly due to narrow votive and the wick leaned over onto pretty glass and scorched it. Kind of dangerous really. I...

Listen—I'm a grown man. I own tools. I eat steak. I've assembled IKEA furniture without crying (recently). But I lit the Pool Boy candle from Vacation and suddenly… I get it. I get the hype. This thing smells like confidence, SPF 50, and just a hint of danger. Like maybe the lifeguard is a part-time model who drinks oat milk and breaks hearts in Miami. My buddy walked in the other day and said, "Bro, why does your house smell like a luxury hotel and also like someone with perfect cheekbones just left?" Exactly. That's Pool Boy. It's tropical, clean, and somehow manages to smell like a six-pack and a mysterious backstory. I don't even have a pool. I have a hose and a bucket. But when this candle is lit? I feel like I have a pool. With cabanas. And a butler named Alejandro. In conclusion: smells incredible, boosts ego, slightly confusing feelings—but worth every penny. Buying a second one in case I burn through it during my next existential crisis.

I light the candle and I am immediately whisked away to my dream-place, where I lounge lizard-like in the sun and pool boys attend to my every whim
