They’re designed to complement each other: the serum delivers a concentrated dose of retinoid, while the overnight cream locks in hydration and supports overnight recovery. Both formulas feature Granactive Retinoid, a petroleum-free retinoid that’s known to be gentler than traditional retinol. When starting with retinoids, slow and steady is best. My Go-to retinol

Pacifica is my go-to Vegan skincare brand and I buy a lot of the products. However, the Wake Up Beautiful line is my favorite for retinol. Most retinol is very drying and I try to layer with moisturizers for balance. I find that to not be the case with this serum. This serum feels great to apply, but I will use it with the other Wake Up Beautiful product line at night and wake up in the morning to moisturized and restful looking skin.
