Apply thin layer of Seche Base Coat to each Nail. Apply two thin layers of any lacquer of your choice allowing to dry completely between each coat. Apply one thin layer of Seche Vive Gel Effect Top Coat. Allow to dry.

I've used this a couple of times now and it goes on beautifully and leaves a nice shine. However, the next day it peels right off. I bought a UV light for nails and that didn't help. Did I just get a bad bottle?

When applied over curable gel-based products, Seche Vive will only provide temporary wear, as gel systems require lamp curing to properly bond and seal. I use this fast drying top coat on top of Essie and OPI polishes. It dries within about five minutes, yet I wait about fifteen minutes to be assured that it is completely dry. The shine makes a very pretty look.

I love this top coat! This is my second bottle, the first lasted 6 months and I do my nails weekly. I prefer gel effect over dry fast because it does not shrink when it dries and I can apply a new coat to freshen up my polish without it peeling (dry fast will lift at the edges if I do this).

One of my favorite top coats. From time to time, I like to use nail strips and this a great job on "plumping" the strip. People ask me where I got my nails done all the time. I get a good 4/5 days with no chipping. I could probably go longer but I like changing my nail color once a week.
It peeled off easily

I tried this twice. It looked gorgeous. But I was disappointed with how easily it peeled off. The entire layer on some of my nails came off as one piece, not like chipping. So then I had some shiny nails, and some not shiny nails. I went back to regular top coat instead of gel.
Chips quickly
Looks nice, but it cracks and chips over the polish or decals underneath within a day or two. Terrible.
