Q
Will this product make my skin photosensitive?
Asked by Rebecca
Official Answer By cocokind - Brand Engage
Hi! We always recommend wearing sunscreen, but vitamin C has very little photosensitivity risk. Not to mention, vitamin C also has photoprotective properties that can prevent free radical damage from sun exposure! We hope you give our vitamin c glow serum a try!Was this answer helpful to you

Q
I got mine awhile ago and my serum looks all cloudy, not clear. Is it supposed to look like that or should i get a new one?
Asked by Sar E.
Official Answer By cocokind - Brand Engage
Hi! To confirm, the formula for this serum hasn’t changed. We actually noticed the differences in this batch as well and reached out to our manufacturer. They were able to confirm that there was a change in the batching process that caused the color to come out not completely clear. However, we can guarantee that the ingredients haven’t changed. You can always reach out if you have any additional questions: info@cocokind.com.Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Is this product ok for sensitive combo skin?
Asked by Mari
Official Answer By cocokind - Brand Engage
Hi! Our vitamin c glow serum was formulated to be effective and gentle for all skin types, including combination and sensitive skin. It is also always a great idea to do a spot test before applying the product all over just to be safe. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
What is the percentage of azelaic acid?
Asked by Ernie
Official Answer By cocokind - Brand Engage
Hi! Azelaic acid and Vitamin C (ascorbyl glucoside) are both in the formula at 2%. Both actives are used at clinically effective levels, and the usage levels align with our philosophy of "a little bit often". At these ingredient levels, we not only benefit from the antioxidant and brightening properties they boast, but the overall formula of the vitamin c glow serum is also potentially more suitable for acne-prone and sensitive skin types. Was this answer helpful to you

Forever Customer

I purchased this product when it was first released (and loved it) but when covid hit, I failed to use it daily and then stopped altogether, not due to any issues from the serum, just from lack of funds decided to cut my routine down to the basics. (cleanser, toner, moisturizer, sunscreen). BIG MIST...

Not for eczema

I recently added this to my skincare routine because I was searching for something to fade my acne marks on my face. I tried this once, and it started burning on my forehead chin and upper lip area immediately after application. This was the first item I put on after washing my face with water only....

I'm using this serum with the beginner retinol and it's made a noticeable difference for me. I've tried using retinol but have always stopped because it irritated my skin. For the first time, my skin is not tight or red. Fantastic!

I appreciated that the bottle was not clear in order to protect the vitamin c inside from going bad. I had good luck with this serum and noticed my skin seemed brighter.

This is my third bottle - I love this product! My first pregnancy I had terrible melasma and dark spots. My second pregnancy I found this product - I used this a few times a week and the results were amazing. No melasma and my skin was totally glowing. Highly recommend - will continue using post partum and beyond!

The smell

Submitted 22 days ago

By Gross

From VA

I do not know if I got a bad batch, or if it truly just smells this way. I cannot get over the smell in order to use it. It smells like a stale, old building thats been abandoned for years.
