After cleansing, during the serum phase, shake the bottle lightly once or twice from side to side and apply a few drops to the skin. Use fingertips to gently massage and absorb the serum, starting from the inside of the face working towards the edges. For the first use, attach the enclosed dropper in the product package. Recommended to use within 2 months of opening due to active ingredient protection. Highly concentrated serum should only be used in the evening? NO! This serum can be used in the morning and/or afternoon. If applied in the morning, be sure to use with a SPF of 30 or higher.
Precautions: Gas can be generated due to the nature of vitamin C. When opening the cap, it may make a sound. With a specially designed cap to seal vitamin C, it can be safely stored by controlling the gas generated inside the container. If you shake it before opening, it may overflow, so shake lightly, from left to right after fastening the pipette. Extra room in the container has been secured for safe use. Vitamin C products are recommended to be used within 2 months of opening due to easy discoloration caused by oxidation. Keep it away from high temperatures and direct sunlight. It is recommended to be stored in the refrigerator when it is not being used every day after fastening the pipette. Keeping it refrigerated can help maintain the freshness of the vitamin C. KEEP REFRIGERATED (3~10C) *Please use immediately after purchase and store upright in refrigerator once opened.

Is this supposed to smell like tuna/fish? I picked this up today, it was unopened.
- Asked by Jodie
- Official Answer By COSRX - Brand EngageThe Vitamin C 23 Serum is formulated with pure vitamin C, which can sometimes have a unique scent due to its active ingredients. We recommend storing the vitamin C serum in the refrigerator to keep it fresh and this will help the scent fade a little. Was this answer helpful to you

After I apply it on my face, my face turns orange color. When I remove it with micellar water and cotton pad at night, the cotton pad also shows orange color. Is there something wrong? I am Asian and I have light fair skin. I just opened it a couple days ago and have kept it in the fridge since opened. So it is not expired and the liquid is light yellow color. Should I stop using it? I don't want my face turning orange. Have used other brand vitamin C serum before for years. Never have this problem.
- Asked by Lisa
- Official Answer By COSRX - Brand EngageThis may look like temporary staining on the surface of your skin, but don’t worry—it’s not permanent and will naturally fade over time. If your skin has a thicker outer layer, the effect might look a bit stronger. To reduce this, we recommend: Using a smaller amount of the product Applying it after exfoliating Washing your face thoroughly after useWas this answer helpful to you
- Q
can this be used with the COSRX 6 peptide skin booster serum? Ive heard not to mix l-ascorbic acid with copper peptides.
- Asked by Cat
- Official Answer By COSRX - Brand EngageWe can inform you that our product has copper peptide ingredients, however, COSRX's peptide serum is a product designed to complement each other and produce better effects when used together with our vitamin C serum. You can safely use COSRX peptide serum and COSRX's vitamin C serum together, it is good to apply the target ingredient, after you prepare your skin with 6 Peptide to maximize the effect. The 6 Peptide Skin Booster Serum is a general all-around preparator serum that will prepare your skin to better absorb further serums and essences. Was this answer helpful to you

Decent enough product but the purge is bad
Received this for free from influenster and CosRX in exchange for my honest review. (Also wrote this review 6x because this website sucks) I wanted to love this so much! I have Combo skin with an oily t zone. No massive skin concerns outside of the early signs of aging at 30 and some uneven skin ton...

Turns my face orange
At first I liked this product even with the odor. But began to notice my face would turn orange in some spots even with makeup on top. Did my makeup for work, all is well but when I got to work noticed splotchy orange spots. Terribly disappointing.

COSRX Vitamin C Serum
I've been using COSRX Vitamin C serum for about a week now, and I'm already seeing remarkable improvements in my skin's complexion and texture. My primary goal was to address hyperpigmentation from hormonal breakouts, and I started noticing a difference within the first three days of use. While it's true the serum has a distinct scent reminiscent of a fresh can of tuna, the smell dissipates quickly, and the results are absolutely worth it. Even my esthetician was surprised by the improvement in my skin. She even tried to sell me her $120 vitamin C serum! I politely declined, as I had decided to experiment with a more affordable option to see if my skin would tolerate it. I must say, I am thoroughly satisfied with my decision and the visible results. My routine is simple: I wash my face with a milky cleanser, tone, and then apply the COSRX Vitamin C serum. The serum is so hydrating that I don't even need to follow up with a moisturizer. After letting the serum settle, I apply SPF and go about my day.
Love this stuff
On my second bottle. Yes it's smelly ( disappears quickly) and needs to be refrigerated ( feels refreshing when it's hot) but I have people asking me daily what I've done to my skin to make it so young looking.
It's good but…
It needs to be refrigerated and smells bad and is a bit sticky . Otherwise it works.
