First, pull cap straight off when removing (don't twist). For extra precision, sharpen before each use. Line and sculpt the lips to create desired shape before applying lipstick. Use a shade that is slightly deeper than your lipstick for a fuller-looking effect.

The texture was more like a crayon and not a pencil. It went on as a thick line like a lipstick
Rosewood was more wood
Purchased rosewood hoping for a little rose. My skin is neutral with warm olive overtone. Shade Rosewood went brown on me and definitely a little more on warmer side. Pretty but not what I wanted.
