Iconic London Velvet Smooth Pore-Refining Primer is exactly what it says it is. It does make your skin feel like smooth velvet. I personally don't feel that it is necessary in my everyday routine.

I would consider myself incredibly well versed in different primer formulations, born out of necessity. I have combo skin with a very oily t zone and excessive sebum production in areas. Primer is a necessity in my makeup routine. Although I did receive this product in exchange for my review, I can honestly say it's one of the nicest printers I've tried. It smooths any dry patches on my face while it seemed to absorb excess oil. It filled in some of my acne scars and allowed my makeup to rest without settling into fine lines and pores. The blurred effect lasted a solid 4 to 6 hours, which in my experience is excellent.

This did not work well for my large pores and oily skin. It feels nice going on, but doesn't hide my pores or blur them. It actually draws attention to every skin flaw I have. It doesn't stay on well either, not trying to look like my makeup is melting off my face. I know it's hard to make primer for oily skin when it's not your main demographic, so I wouldn't recommend it to my fellow wet face beauties.

This product is so easy to apply and feels so light on my skin. I also love that it doesn't have a strong scent which I am very sensitive too. It goes on so smooth and helps my foundation look amazing. I would definitely recommend this.

I have really loved using this product. I've tried other similar products and they often feel a bit odd and I don't enjoy using them. This one didn't leave me feeling like my makeup would slide off. The texture was great and the smell wasn't overpowering like it can be in some products like this. My makeup looked amazing after using it (and dermaplaning!).
