Good, but different texture than normal moisturizer

I like this cream and typically use it as a moisturizer/last step. I use Aklief (retinoid) which usually makes my skin dry, but this seems to work well at combating that. It does have more of a sticky, thicker feeling that seems to leave a layer that lingers on my skin instead of immediately absorbing in. However, I've been able to get used to it pretty quick and I usually don't have dry, flaky patches at the end of the day so it seems like that layer helps to keep the moisture in.
Unexpectedly obsessed
Bought this slightly on a whim during the 10x points on AAPI day, and wow this does not disappoint! It feels somewhat like vaseline in texture, but isn't oily in the same way. I love, love this as a final step of my night skincare routine to really lock everything in. I can feel the differenfe the next morning. I'm interested in trying this as a makeup primer as I feel the texture would be good for that, but haven't quite gotten to that yet!

This product appears to be an ointment consistency, but it's hyper absorbent and leaves my skin to be silky smooth. I use it for my hands because I have super dry skin (from washing hands) but hate the stickiness of lotions. I don't need it for my face so I can't speak to that. But I can say that it leaves no sticky residue and I already bought two!!

I have dry skin and my make up can settle in my fine lines or become caked in spots. This product has really minimized this issue because it helps retain necessary moisture to keep my makeup dewy. It makes a great primer under foundation, but note allow your eye cream, spot treatments, sunscreen, and moisturizer time to absorb separately otherwise your make up can become pilled. That's is the down side of having older skin.

I have tried so many things for all the flaky patches I get from Rosacea . This is amazing! My skin had not been this good in so long. I won't be without it !!! Love so much!!!!
