My personal experience: in the initial spray I get a burned rubber, burning smokey chemical. (Very strong and intoxicating in not a good way). I absolutely can't get enough of this! On my 3rd or 4th bottle at least! Got the vanilla milk shimmer oil too, which smells just as amazing! Ellis Brooklyn, can you make a vanilla milk lotion or oil without the shimmer? Absolutely my fave!!

At first I did not like this at all. I have been on a long expensive journey to find a company whose scents I can really get behind, and with time, my nose changing and me really honing in on what works for me, I have landed here at Ellis Brooklyn. I own almost every scent they offer (when I get my most recent order), and I have found I truly love their scent DNA. I even bought two discontinued scents (sadly I didn't love them), but I had to know. So when I got a sample set of their mini bottles that's what started it all. I have come to love or respect every single one of their scents and for me and my picky nose that is a feat. It also speaks to the work done by EB and the kind of perfumes they choose to create. Not only does their DNA work so beautifully with my chemistry, but their scents are not dupes or recreations you've smelled a million times before. Not to mention the fact that they are "clean"scents that I can feel good about wearing daily. So Vanilla Milk will not smell like anything you already know, and I think that's why I came to love it so much. It is a delicately beautiful milky rich scent that just seems to melt into your skin. Layer it with almost anything and it will just sweeten and deepen it. I mix it with Apple Love for a truly intoxicating fall scent. Not blind but safe, but definitely worth the try.
My absolute favorite vanilla scent
I blind bought this and just wow. I am obsessed and now want to save up to purchase the big bottle. Im bummed to see some people think it smells like tire or burning so I assume its due to body chemistry. If your skin takes well to vanilla I recommend
