GAME CHANGER!!!

I decided to up my game and try gel nail polishes. It didn't take long for me to figure out I would need an LED light to cure & dry the polish. I read the previous reviews so I was afraid to spend so much money. I decided to give it a try, knowing Ulta would refund my money within 60 days of purc...hase with the receipt if it didn't work. I had such success from my very first manicure! I want to share some tips from my experience because the reviews didn't give it justice and the instructions that come with this tool are subpar. After preparing my nails - filing, smoothing & buffing I washed my hands with soap and water and dried them. Then I applied 70% isopropyl alcohol liberally to my nails and dried them. While I'm not a professional manicurist, I've been doing my own nails weekly for 50 years. After watching the pros I've noticed these are the steps professional manicurists always do before applying polish. Don't forget the rubbing alcohol! I used OPI INFINITE SHINE GEL polish 3 steps. The ones with the silver handles. I applied one coat of the clear Infinite Shine 1 (primer/base) and then I cured each hand for 60 seconds (120 seconds total). Then I applied the 2nd step which is a coat of OPI Infinite Shine 2, in the color of my choice and cured each hand for 60 seconds (120 seconds total). I then applied a second coat of OPI 2 gel color and repeated the same LED light curing process. Then the third and final step I applied one coat of OPI Infinite Shine 3 Gloss. It is in a black bottle, also with a silver handle. Then I used the exact same process of curing each hand for 60 seconds with the Red Carpet Ultra Cure 30 Second LED Light. They have turned out perfectly all six times I've used this and will continue to use it. This thing paid for itself in 2-3 uses if you consider what it costs to have a professional gel manicure and pay for a tip and bonus, I could do it in the comfort of my home and go to bed afterward. My nails are still beautiful and shiny in the morning and lasts a full week or longer!! I don't think it works with all gel polishes but obviously it works with Red Carpet gel polishes and now I know it works well with OPI gel polishes. I hope you give this a try and found my lengthy explanation helpful. It's on a deep sale right now for the holidays. Give it a try.
