Works great on my thin, fine hair
I have been using this product for a long time and it's still my go to when it comes to hair protection. I have thin fine hair so I do have to be careful when applying it to make sure that I don't apply too much. With thin hair it's more prone to get damaged and I do believe this product definitely helps protect my hair from the curling iron that I use 2 to 3 times a week and helps tame the frizz. It also has a really great smell.
Very disappointed - good straightner, not multi use

This straightner is good for straightening. It does however snag my hair which sucks. I reallly was looking for a good straightner i could use to curl my hair. It snags my hair way too much. I like the sleek design, and long cord. I did return it. :(
Not worth the money
Okay I've been on a hunt for a great flat iron for my natural Type 4 hair and my multiple wigs. I picked this up because of the great ratings but i just don't feel like this Chi flat iron is worth the money. I love how long it is, how fast it heats up, the digital setting to let you know it's ready, and the lightweight feeling. This doesn't leave a shiny look or feeling, it makes the hair soft but not what I expected for the price unfortunately.

Replaced my very old CHI flat iron with this model. I read reviews about pulling hair, but still purchased it and am so glad I did. Love the longer plate area, the ease in curling when I want that, and controls on the side. My very first few sections I straightened did grab a few hairs, but none after that - smooth operation since. I assume it was the newness of the plates. Love this tool!
