I bought this a few months ago, ran out so bought another online. Picked it up today. The container and label are different. Did the ingredients change? Is it no longer silicone free/mineral free?

What is the difference between the hydra source conditioning balm and the ultra hydra source conditioner?
- Asked by deli
- Official Answer By Biolage - Brand EngageHi Deli, thank you for asking about Hydra Source Conditioning Balm. There difference between Hydra Source Conditioning Balm and Ultra Hydra Source Conditioner, is that Hydra Source Conditioning Balm conditions and detangles while adding softness, leaves hair hydrated, seals the cuticle to lock the moisture, for dry fine to medium hair, and suitable for color-treated hair. Ultra Hydra Source Conditioner provides intense conditioning, instantly renews moisture for healthy looking hair, smooths and controls volume, for very dry, thick or coarse and damaged hair, paraben-free, suitable for color-treated hair. Best for Very Thick, Long Hair
I have Very Long- 46", VERY thick hair with a natural wave. Even at the length its at it still has a slight- stubborn wave. Been using this product since I was about 12- just turned 40. I swear by it. Recently tried a different Biolage conditioner & it was a no- go. This is my 4ever ❤. I only wash 2...

Ok
I've used the large jar of this product before and thought it worked great. But this time, the tube was on sale and I'm not sure if it's a different product entirely, but it doesn't work as well. Its very thick, so you really have to work it with your hands before applying to your hair, and then, it...

Been Using Since The 90's!
I borrowed my friend's shampoo/conditioner on a trip to Austin to attend college and and have been purchasing since. I have thick but dry hair-I swim so sun and chlorine can really dry my already dry hair but this product makes your hair super gorgeous. Sometimes I use more than one application *if I have been outside landscaping or swimming extra so my only complaint is the cost as it's a little pricey at 24 bucks a 13 ounce tube. I go through almost 2 a month-with the hydro shampoo, that's almost a hundred a month to wash my hair with these biolage products and I can do it now but I did take an almost 10 year hiatus from these Biolage products because I was recovering some health issues and didn't have enough income to purchase. It's nice to be back and my hair is loving using the product again but pricey pricey.
I would buy this product again.
Hair Type Straight Hair
Biolage conditioning balm makes my hair feel wonderful. It manages the wispy flyaways leaving full bodied straight hair.
Not the same conditioner
I have used this conditioner for several years and something has changed. It used to be great but now it leaves my hair a frizzy, dry, tangled mess. I do not recommend it, what a waste of money.
I love the product and would buy it again 😊
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I recommend 👍 it because it keeps my hair healthy.
This saved my fine, dry hair!!!
Hair Type Straight Hair
It's hard to say whether my hair is straight or curly. Suddenly, my hair has become extremely dry, so I stopped blow drying, and air drying leaves it curly! Never in my life have I had curls. I've been taking a statin, the only change I've made, and that could be why, but I've also had terrible reactions to all three I've tried, including thinning hair, so I don't know if that changed the texture! My hair was falling out and was so dry and full of static that I had my husband chop about 4 inches off thinking that would help. It didn't. I tried other shampoos & conditioners to no avail until a friend recommended this line. After the very first use, I was sold!! It saved my hair! I'm back to blow drying and I love the way it looks and feels! It's also not coming out in the shower. I did stop the statin, but only a few weeks ago, so there's no way after everything I've tried that this shampoo and conditioner wasn't what helped! Thank you, Biolage for keeping me from wearing a hat or buying a wig!!
