I have used Not your mother's items before, but this is a god send. The only shampoo I have used that makes my hair as manageable as this was Lanza Healing Strength and sadly I just cannot afford to spend that kind of money regularly. This shampoo, within one wash, I could tell the difference directly in the shower. I followed with the conditioner, but I never use conditioner on my roots…most people should only be applying conditioner mid to ends unless you have a dry scalp and need it. Otherwise, your hair and scalp will be oily or get oily faster. I experienced no fall out like some others claimed but everyone is different. For the people complaining about scalp buildup, I am not sure how often you wash your hair or if you actually massage or even brush your scalp while shampooing, but that could help. It is also beneficial to strip your hair and scalp or use an exfoliator once in a while. I prefer this brand bonding shampoo compared to Olaplex. My hair responds better to it than Olaplex and the difference in price is definitely a plus.

Mediocre shampoo
This shampoo does not lather well. I always shampoo my hair twice in the shower & once my hair dried I was still left with oil build up. Would not recommend. Smell could be better as well.

My hair was so damaged that I began trying expensive products for repair and to minimize damage. Nothing has worked as good as this. It's not even close. I'm hooked.
