How To Use

Shake well. Turn can upside down and dispense a small amount of product into palm. Distribute evenly through towel-dried hair from root to tip. Style as desired.

Q&A

Showing 5 out of 6 Questions
Q
Is this product silicone free?
Asked by Jess
Official Answer By Virtue - Brand Engage
Hello! There is a small amount of very lightweight silicone: PEG-12 Dimethicone A water-soluble silicone (because of the PEG modification) Lightweight Adds slip, shine, frizz control Less likely to build up compared to traditional non-water-soluble silicones like dimethicone or amodimethicone So this is not a heavy coating silicone — it’s a more rinseable, conditioning type. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Does this mousse have a heat protector in it?
Asked by Apples
Official Answer By Virtue - Brand Engage
This mousse has not been specifically tested for heat protection and is not marketed as a dedicated heat protectant. While it contains conditioning and film-forming ingredients that may provide light styling support, we recommend using a product specifically designed and tested for thermal protection when heat styling. Was this answer helpful to you

Q
Why is Virtue not considered a clean beauty brand?
Asked by Janet
Official Answer By Virtue - Brand Engage
Virtue is consciously clean. It’s the most advanced hair repair on the market delivering up to 98% split-end repair in a single use. Our consciously clean line-up is free from gluten, parabens, Phlathates, and synthetic colors/dyes; It’s cruelty-free and vegan. - While each formula is preserved differently for the specific needs of that formula type and solubility of different preservatives varies in different systems (such as emulsions, high water formulas, surfactant / cleansing systems, etc.), this provides examples of some of the preservatives used in Virtue®️ products. • Phenoxyethanol - A synthetic preservative that is one of the most effective alternatives to parabens. (Phenoxyethanol is commonly used in skincare products). • Ethylhexylglycerin - A naturally derived, biodegradable preservative from vegetable glycerin • Caprylyl Glycol - A humectant that also acts as a preservative • Chlorphenesin - A synthetic, yet mild preservative used at low levels to boost effectiveness against bacteria and mold • Potassium Sorbate or Sorbic Acid - A food grade antimicrobial and anti-fungal preservative used in conjunction with other preservatives • Sodium Benzoate or Benzoic Acid - A food grade antimicrobial and anti-fungal preservative used in conjunction with other preservatives • Benzyl Alcohol - Used at a low level to boost preservative activity; has no negative effect on hair in terms of drying or weight on hair Note: All of the above antimicrobial preservatives are commonly used in facial skincare (as well as haircare)Was this answer helpful to you

In Love

I try A LOT of hair products, trying to find the ones that my hair loves the best, as I'm on a natural hair journey. I have fine 2b-c waves and live in an area that is almost always at a few point where I'm fighting frizz… plus curly hair is just prone to frizz. This mousse actually gives me a decen...

Product is great, but containers- not so much

Again I like the product, but this is not my first issue with the bottles they come in. I have arthritis in my hands. I couldn't be get anything out of the first mousse. I took it to my friends just to make sure it just wasn't my arthritis and it didn't work. (I had issues with the color kick shampo...

I bought this to replace Living Proof Full Mousse which was discontinued. It's okay, if a bit dry.
