I used Redken Hot Sets years ago and loved it. If I used it, say, 10+ years ago, would that one have been the 11 or 22? I only remember there being one formula back then.

Disappointed
I have been using this product for years. Recently bought a new bottle not knowing that the formula had changed. Not only does the new formula make my hair feel weighed down and dull, but it smells terrible. Will no longer be buying this product.

I never leave reviews, but this was terrible in my hair. I have to clean my brush insanely (soaking, baking soda, scrubbing, etc. type of cleaning) anytime I use the product because it builds up in my hair and brush so bad.

Perfect for FINE hair
I have really fine hair. I dry my hair, spray it with this, then dry it again to set it, THEN curl with flat iron for waves. I even use a vloom with it to get more volume. If you have thin fine hair it is the best!
Smells like a funeral home…
I can't get over the smell. Anyone else think this smells exactly like a funeral home? I don't know what the smell is, its kind of flowery, and it has been at every funeral I have ever been to. I know I sound crazy but I am dead serious. (Pun intended)

I have thick, course hair. I straighten my hair regularly. I was looking for a Good heat Protectant. This is not it. It made my hair sticky and when it dried , my hair was crunchy. When I put the straightner on my hair, I could hear my hair frying. Not cool!
