Disappointed

I bought this in hopes it would be a great addition to my tanning needs. Unfortunately, its a letdown. It has a huge slef tanner smell and transfers. I put it on last night at around 8 and went to bed at 11. It was dry. But i woke up and all my whites were orange. It worked fast for a "gradual" tann...

I tried it

I tried it and honestly, it could have been user error. I followed the instructions, I exfoliated prior to, I used a mitt, and still only ended with some tanning around my ankles instead of the entire leg. I will try again and hopefully I'll be able to update this review.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

good tanning drop base

on its own it's a ok lotion with a tiny bit of self tan which can turn orange if you apply it too heavy... whats good is to use it as a base for tanning drops! I use tanologist drops in dark and add around 3-5 drops per section so left arm 3-4 drops right arm repeat ... it definitely works well as a base plus you can adjust so one day maybe add extra drops then next day no drops.

Smells good, but it's a thick body butter and doesnt cover evenly, even if you think you do a thorough job. Some spots will be darker/more orange than others. Took several days for it to fade/scrub off.

Good gradual tan

This is a decent option for a gradual tan builder. Won't make it look like you just returned from the islands after one day, but does build gradually. Does have a fake tan smell, but washes off at next shower. Spreads evenly. It's a good option.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I had my doubts about this becuase of the other reviews, and it's just not very commonly advertised. But I took the advise of one of the reviews and applied it after I got out of my night time shower when my skin was still damp. the fact that it's a lotion makes it so easy to apply evenly so no worries about an uneven look! it dries super quick so you're not feeling sticky until you wash it off which I loved. dont have to apply lotion before I put it on so it makes it faster to put on. it definitely still has the tanner stink to it. but honestly I really dont care in comparison to the results. the color is super gradual and a great shade.
