I currently get just my roots highlighted more of a platinum blonde. Will this product match and be a good choice to use for a lower budget hair treatment?
- Asked by momma7
- Official Answer By ClairolThat would depend on the base color of your natural hair. If your hair is medium brown, you will want to use the Nice N' Easy Hi Lift in shade SB2 ( Summer Blonde)Was this answer helpful to you

My natural color is light brown and I have had my hair lightened by my hairdresser to blonde for several years. I am now wanting to go back closer to my natural color. (Also, I am starting to see grey.) Do I need to grow my hair out in order to change back to my natural color or is there a permanent hair color product that can help to do this quicker without using a "rinse".
- Asked by Mary
- Official Answer By ClairolYou will not need to grow your hair out but you should use a permanent color as it will put pigment back onto the strands of your hair that have been removed by the bleach. Was this answer helpful to you

Hi. I read the reviews and purchased the color 4 dark brown. I am not totally gray. I used it and it did not cover the gray I had. Partially. But it's obvious it didn't cover most especially on the part line. Why is this when you state total coverage of gray?
- Asked by Linda
- Official Answer By ClairolThank you for your question. Perfect 10 does cover grey when used at directed. There are some instances where the effect of the coverage would be lessened, such as hair being damp prior to application or styling product residue not allow the color to fully absorb. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
I have thick hair that is to the middle of my back. I dyed it purple and blue recently. Will there be uneven color and Will one box cover it all?
- Asked by busy bee
- Official Answer By ClairolThank you for your question. One box should be sufficient for the length and thickness of your hair. We recommend combing the product through your hair from root to tip to ensure that the coverage is even. Was this answer helpful to you

Had my hair highlited and it's TOO blond. Can I use this to apply some darker / lowlights in certain areas (not apply to the entire head)?
- Asked by patricia
- Official Answer By ClairolHello! We do not recommend applying lowlights at home. This can be tricky! Your hair would be at risk for picking up a discoloration (green, blue, gray, or purple) or grabbing dark. We recommend visiting a salon for your lowlights. Was this answer helpful to you

Just want to know why you changed it. Why would anyone change something that people have been using for years? Can y ou still buy the old Nice 'n Easy????
- Asked by nina
- Official Answer By ClairolHello! We have depleted our stock of original Nice 'n Easy. The new formula is a big upgrade on all steps of the process and combines all latest findings from Clairol in one product. Our new formula replaces PPD and PTD dye molecules with the new ME+ molecule, which significantly reduces the risk of developing a new allergy. Our new damage blocking technology helps to prevent damage on the hair and provide longer lasting color results. We've upgraded to a no-drip, cream formula that features conditioners at every step of the color process to alleviate the feeling of dry hair. We hope that you give it a try!Was this answer helpful to you
