Not a "sweet" scent at all!
On my skin nor when I smell the bottle directly, I do not get a sweet scent. I get musk (ambrette), licorice (heliotrope), and spicy pepper (orris). I don't smell the marshmallow at all, but I do get a hint of an artificial tart/sour type of candy. Nothing about this is light, soft, fresh, or sweet ...

I was excited when i seen this was meant to be sweet, and purchased blindly based on complaints of sugary smells - because i like sweet / sugar smells. This does not smell sweet to me, i get more notes of amber than anything else. The first time i smelt it i was confused on if i liked it or not, ive never been confused on how i feel about a smell before. Usually you know if you like or dislike something. It almost in some wafts of air smells like sensual amber from B&BW? Im not smelling the pear really. Its actually odd. As time went on, i do suppose i like the smell, and it can have hints of a sweeter smell like the marshmallow, but truly the amber overrules. Side note: i sprayed close to the top of my sweater so i could keep smelling to decide if i liked it, i regret this because it is very strong and the smell does not die. I had to change shirts. I love that its long lasting ill just have to spray in different areas - so one spray would suffice. Adding that part in to those who may be sensitive. Would i buy this again? Probably not. Will i still wear this? Yes. I love that this is on the cleaner side and cruelty free.

I bought the rollerball Fairytales set and i didnt expect much of this one- its my favorite! I use it as a base for everything, it makes everything turn into a lightly sweet fun scent, which i think is usually missing from my everyday favs! Sillage and longeveity arent super out there but i dont think theyre meant to be, i love it just the way it is!
warm, soft, sweet, comforting
To me, this smells like the warm soft tummy of a beloved pregnant kitty. Or smells like what I imagine a mom hug filled with love feels like. It's not very dimensional, but it has this sweet, warm magic to it. It's not very strong, it's like a secret on your skin for a lover to discover. I can't smell it unless my wrist gets close to my face. It reminds me of the campfire scent febreeze. It doesn't lead to any specific genre of sweet. It's not sugary, it's not floral, it's not fruity, no hints of bakery, not gourmand. It's just a simple, clean, warm sweet scent. Warm as in sunshine. Maybe a little milky.

Not only is this scent a boring, sugary fragrance without much depth, it doesnt last long on the skin either.

This really does pleasantly sweet, I really enjoy wearing it.
