I love peach and lily and use a lot of their products! Was so excited to get my hands on this and try but immediately after applying my face smelled like burnt cigarettes. This oil is modeled after traditional Korean skincare—ginseng has been used for hundreds of years for skin and as a longevity/anti-aging supplement. The higher the quantity-and quality! -the stronger the smell. The rich, earthy, herbaceous smell is a sign of quality ginseng and enough of it to actually have some effect on the skin. I am so glad PL made something like this. Feels like home. If you do not like it, use something else. I highly recommend this for anyone interested in trying a traditional-style skincare oil. I love this oil. I love the way my skin looks/feels. The texture is perfect. The oil is luxurious but it is so priced so well! I've seen comments about the scent , but I think it smells like a spa. Very nice.

Smells earthy is a understatement
I wish it didn't smell so bad it does make your skin feel so hydrated but i am nauseous until the smell goes away which is longer than you would think.If you have no sense of smell or love dirt this is the product for you.
