Definitely buying this product again and again
I've been dyeing my hair red for almost a year now. I haven't come across any brow products to specifically match my red (like a ruby, true, princess Ariel red) so i decided i'd stop in at my local Ulta and hope they could recommend maybe an eyeshadow to match. a wonderful woman showed me this produ...

Horrible to use as eyeliner!
This was recommended to me by an Ulta employee I got the white one and I was told I could mix it with my favorite eyeshadow to get it that color eyeliner or I could just put the powder over where I lined my eyes with this pomade. Unfortunately it's very difficult to work with on its own I did not tr...

Not what I thought "Aubergine" would look like.
I guess I imagined "Augergine" to be more of an eggplant shade (hence, the name). It's more of a magenta and it doesnt show up on my olive skin…and the reddish cast makes me look like I'm stoned. It's also very dry and not easy to get out of the container. I have a good brush for eyelining and I know how to wing out my eyes so it's not me. If it was just my poor color choice I'd say go darker….but the consistancy is bad as well. Waste of money for a prestige brand not even eligible for coupons.
Not Beginner Friendly but still very good
I bought this eyeliner for a friend who is just getting into makeup. She's been struggling a little using it but she's determined to learn how to use it and have killer winged eyeliner.
Disregard the instructions
So i love this pomeade, specifically for brows BUT the instructions say you dont need water to activate this but i find is easier to work with, goes on easier & has a brighter pigment to it when activated. I personally use Evian facial spray to activate mine & seal it with Charlotte Tilbury setting spray.
Aubergine was a major disappointment…
This pomade came very hard in the pan and picking it up on a brush is very difficult. I used it first as an eyeliner and the consistency was so waxy that it just crumbled and created a very dry and streaky line. I've used pomades from other brands as a liner before and have never had such a hard time getting one to work. I had to apply several layers for it to even show up on my light-medium skin and even after all the effort, it looked like I had applied my liner with an old cheap waxy crayon from a kid's art kit. I've tried a few more times since to get it to work by warming it up or applying oil. Warming it up gives a slightly smoother application but the pigmentation is still lacking and it still feels waxy and drags a lot. I added the tiniest bit of oil and it sheared the pigment out even worse. As a shadow, the application was patchy and extremely difficult. All in all, this was a total waste of money. I was excited because Aubergine is a great color that I would use a lot, but the final effect is not worth all the hassel AT ALL.
Don't bother
Dried up completely into a solid puck. Cant revive it. 😭 so hard to find a great pigmented red.
