I know dermatologists don't recommend anything over a 30 SPF but I feel a little more comfortable with a higher number just in case I don't have a chance to reapply. Living in New England, I take advantage of our summers and spend as much time at the beach as I possibly can. I am fair-skinned, so I usually don't use anything less than 50 SPF. I also like the sprays because I often go to the beach by myself and the sprays help me get all of the hard to reach area...

Only sunscreen all use
Im a redhead that burns easily and lives in the south. I love sunbum over other brands for its clean formula, smell and coverage. Ive never had a sun burn while using this product properly. Shake can well before use and you are good to go! I've never had it cause break outs which I am prone to. It washes off with soap and water in the shower. I use the sun bum face sunscreen vs this on my face since the face one is a lighter mist thats not greasy at all.

Sadly, while I have used and loved other sun bum products, for whatever reason this broke me out in hives almost instantly after application. I ended up getting in the ocean and scrubbing myself with sand because the itching was so intense I couldn't enjoy myself. a few hours later, the itching has subsided, but the welts are still very present. I would not recommend if you have sensitive skin.
