I wanted to love this product but after I tried it on I realized there's Polybutene in this which is a potential carcinogen if ingested. Obviously lip products are easily ingested when drinking water or eating so I returned it back to Ulta.

This lip mask really works. I live in a hot, dry climate (Phoenix AZ) and am plagued by dry, flaky, cracked lips. I apply this at night its little applicator and it soothes and softens. It is thicker than petroleum jelly but it stays on and absorbs into skin rather than just temporarily coating. It's a must-have in my nightly skin care routine.

I felt a bit disappointed with this product. I bought it because previous products I've purchased have done what they were marketed to do. I incorporated this product into my nightly routine. I use the mask before going to bed. When I wake up, my lips are dry. I believe it's the product that is bad because when I use deep hydration rose balm, the rose balm keeps my lips soft.
