Most Helpful Positive Review The Bearded Lady
So this is great for removing my facial hair. I get a mustache and pretty significant chin hair...I could literally be the Bearded Lady on this season of American Horror Story (I'm exaggerating, but it's still pretty bad). It's gotten to the point where I have to use my micro trimmer every other day. I can't wax due to sensitive skin and the acne medication I use and threading is expensive. I saw this while browsing and decided to give it a try. It IS easy to use...I never read the instructions and it worked my first try. Twist it quickly; it will tug on your hair hard and going fast is the best. It really pulls your hair out at the root and pulls many hairs at once. Even though it pulls a lot of hairs at once, it still takes time to complete a larger area. The result is smooth, hairless skin. I really like this and as stated previously my only qualms are the pain (at times) and the amount of time it takes. Worth it to save money though!

First, the directions were printed so small they were almost impossible to read.
Once I figured out how it worked and got the hang of it I think it was quite effective. However, I would recommend clearer institutions and perhaps an online video.

It doesn't work well when hair is too short.

The learning curve was long for me but now that I got the hang of it I love it. So much better than removing fuzz with a blade, the results last so much longer. Anyone who says it doesn't work gave up too soon, and yes it's uncomfortable but you'll get use to it.

Once you get the hang of it, it works great. It kind of relaxing.
Works if you understand how to use it

This works great as long as you use it properly. I bought it from another retailer, and I'll admit that I would've thought it didn't work had I not read a customer's review that said you need to have the side with the letters against your skin. If you have it on the opposite side, it won't pull any hair.
You may have to try different angles depending on the direction the hair is going and where it is on your face (e.g. the upper lip is easier than under your chin). Also, the hair has to be long enough for it to grab. I do it while watching TV at night or laying in bed in the morning before I get up.
Smoothest skin you'll ever have

I'm 50 and use this a couple times a week when/if I'm watching the before bed, I've used another brand prior but this one imo has a tighter coil that lasts longer. Waxing my upper lip and chin was starting to really hurt my "aging" skin and this is SO much gentler. If you find yourself getting bumps with this tool, rinse it well with rubbing alcohol and let air dry and wash your face once or twice (Max) with antibacterial liquid soap like Hibiclens, buy at any drugstore). This tool will leave you with velvety smooth skin and the upkeep is minimal if used 2-3 times a week (few minutes a day). I haven't had to wax in years and shaving is minimal. Some of my lifelong problem areas on my face have stopped growing completely. This is a must have for the more mature crowd 🙂🤗 🪒

So glad I stumbled across these! Definitely a learning curve but once you get it down it's amazing! Leaves face nice and smooth. Like others mentioned you don't need a mirror so you can chill and watch tv while you're doing it. Doesn't seem like such a beauty routine. If it's not "working" keep trying you won't regret it. I'm no beauty guru if I can figure it out anyone can. The tweezers are really good as well.

Definitely pulls hair out but you don't really have control over which ones. Got a lot of baby hairs out and not as much what I wanted.
It works but...

Product works if you lay it at the right place where hair is. Kinda of tedious to twist handles everytime but if you have time then it works.
A MUST HAVE IF YOU HAVE FACIAL HAIR!
Rarry from Olympia WA
I absolutely love this thing. I have been using the same one for about three years now. It works everytime. I never had an issue with it. You do have to keep adjusting the direction you use it. It needs to be manuvered often, and it does take some time to do it, but that doesn't bother me at all. I turn on the TV, relax and get to work. You don't need to stand in front of the mirror which is a big bonus for me. You can feel it pulling the hairs out so you know it's working. I think this is a great way to remove facial and if you can figure out how to use it you won't be disappointed.

This tool is hard to work with and its truly painful. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product because it literally tares your hair out and it very hard to reach in smaller or tighter areas in the face. Don't Bother.
I want to like it, so I'll keep trying

I need something like this and am determined to get the technique down. But I've spent 30 minutes rolling this up my face twisting the handles and haven't felt more than a tiny tug of a hair that i don't think even got pulled. The packaging's instructions are not clear. I thought you rolled it down your face because the package doesn't mention a direction you're supposed to glide the device. Came to the website to try to see a video of someone using it. I don't know if i bent it out of shape just enough to not grasp the hairs right? When i first went to use it, I assumed you opened and closed it on the hairs rather than rolling it. I'm guessing I'm not the only one who assumed it at first either! (Doubling down on that "instructions could be clearer on the packaging" message). Hopefully I can eventually get the roll and twist and glide down, or find the right angle I'm supposed to hold it at? Anyways, I wanna say bye to the daily face hair tweezing so I'll try again.

When I first tried using it, it didn't work. I thought you were supposed to squeeze it but you're actually supposed to turn the silver arrows and it rolls upward and pinched the hair out of the follicle. The only cons I had were that the arrows on mine were placed the wrong way so I turned them the wrong way, and that it really pinches so I had to get used to that. Otherwise, it really does work. I used it for the peach fuzz on my lip.
Not a fan

I like my Anastasia tweezers so much more, and I wasn't a fan of the hair remover.

This is a must have. If it doesn't work for you, I'm sorry, but I'm inclined to blame you instead of this device. There's definitely a learning curve, and I'm inclined to go over the same spot to be sure to grab the hair that's offending me, but I still prefer this over tweezers.
Be sure that you press the coil up against your face and roll the tubes in, and together. It sounds bonkers now but when you get it, you'll know. I keep this thing in the desk drawer and get to rolling during idle calls or when I'm watching a movie, to keep the hormone monster at bay. I used to be surprised by an errant coarse jet black hair out of my chin, sometimes my neck (!!), that appeared to be inches in length without my knowing. BUT NO MORE!
Tombraider98 from NYC
I have to say I was super skeptical about this apparatus. It looked weird and difficult to use in the videos I saw of people using it. Now although it did pinch a bit (no more than tweezing) it gave me amazing results. Not only was it easy to use, it got all the hair on my upper lip. Even the tiny light hairs. Tops waxing and tweezing. To me threading is not an option anymore because I live in NYC and everything has been closed mostly since the spring. This tool is definitely a keeper and I will not be wasting my time or money on waxing or threading anymore. Thanks tweezerman!
Syd from IN
Tweezers is easier. The spring does nothing except make you reach for your tweezers. Waste of money.

Ok ladies, stop waxing, threading, tweezing and, please, whatever you do, don't shave your face!
This device has been around for years and it's because it works. The sensation is like waxing but not as bad, depending on your pain tolerance.
The key is to start with a clean, dry face. And, to keep the device clean by washing it with alcohol or witch hazel after use.
Especially during the pandemic, this little tool has saved me from some, shall we say, "hairy situations." :-)
This bumped my face up so bad, I will be returning it.

It does work
Jen from AZ
You put the coil flat on your face and twist the silver metallic pieces in the direction that the arrows indicate.
It works, but it hurts! No worse than threading, but it's not painless for sure.
I would not buy it again.

Excited to try it, very disappointed. Followed the directions and it did not work.
A bit of a learning curve but TOTALLY worth it...

I hope ya'll at tweezerman never stop making this. Ive been using for about 10 years (I first tried a lil while prior to that & gave up but then tried again & got the hang of it). I found that with daily use & occasionally getting sat on it it will last at least 2-3 years before breaking at the handle, which is a pretty good life span). I always have one as a backup but out of caution since so many amazing small biz are closing shop I'm going to buy a large quantity now just to ensure I will always have one for the rest of my life. The regular tweezers are the best as well.
I am addicted to this tool

I have always disliked how much facial hair I had. But waxing made me break out. This tool is amazing. I have to force myself to stop.
Worked like a charm!

I love this product! I was looking for something more thorough to rid my face of the "peach fuzz". This Facial Hair Remover did the trick. I wasn't expecting the experience to be pain-free because I knew it removes unwanted hair from the root. Even then, the pain is not awful and I can just sit and "de-fuzz" while I'm watching TV. I will definitely be buying this product as stocking stuffers this year!
Worth every cent!

I only wish I found this product earlier. Works perfectly in removing coarse tough hairs and peach fuzz. I will never put a razor near my face ever again!
