The long bristles are a bit too floppy to pick up much pigment, even on a brand new pan, but that does allow for a careful, layered application to provide a more natural finish. It was the brush my mature skin needed. I can't explain it, but to lightly brush on my finished make up is the finishing touch to my make up. I lightly cover my face with loose powder and it sets just right, not too much and not too light. The quality of the brush is perfect in size and usefulness. Love the cute pink color of the brush as well.
