I love the SilkSteam Pro! I am a Hairstylist and Makeup Artist and taking care of my skin actually trumps hair. (You can pull your hair back but you can't put your face in a ponytail.) I had ordered another steamer some months back and literally had to sit at a table to get eye-level with it so the steam could hit my face. I promptly sent it back. What I love about the PMD is it shoots upwards, so you can literally be standing at your bathroom sink getting steamed. Sometimes I bent just a little at the knees to get closer, and other times I literally stood upright and still got an amazing steam (I'm 5'8"). It's simple, it's easy, it comes to YOU and there aren't a million buttons or settings - there's just one - which is how it should be. It runs for about 15 minutes. That's my only complaint. It's so wonderful I wish it ran for 30+ minutes so I could just let it run in my bathroom while I got ready. But then it'd be a giant steamer and wouldn't fit nicely on your counter. So this was my first using a product like this. The PMD Silk Steam Pro is literally a game changer. In love with this new addition to my skincare. Ive been using it for 3 weeks & it has done wonders to my skin!!! Like it really did help minimize my pores & soften my skin way more. Im very impressed with this product. I do recommend it 100%!!!

I have had a fair share of steamers and this one is in my top 5. I love the sleek design and how it works. My initial thoughts of this steamer were that it would not work well based on its size, but it proved me wrong. I used distilled water with the SilkSteam Pro because it's a necessary protocol. If distilled water is not used it can damage the steamer and create more "wear & tear" for future usage. I primarily used this steamer for cleansing, exfoliating, and softening my skin before extractions. It's also great to use before wearing a mask so your skin can reap the benefits even more. I also enjoy the touch/push feature on where you insert the water into the steamer and how easily it disperses to create steam. This steamer is easy to set up, clean, and use. It does not take forever like how some steamers can take up to 10 minutes to create the steam effect. This is great for all skin types but for those who have acne-prone skin or sensitive, I would ease up on the use of steamers. Another cool tip if you want the true spa experience. You can add half of a cotton ball with your fav essential oil and place it close to the opening hole where the steam disperses. This can help you unwind but also create a small aromatherapy moment with your steamer.
