Because everyone's hair is different, do the strand test and see the result of the color before full application. A patch test is also recommended to confirm you're not allergic.
Step 1: Shampoo and dry hair thoroughly. Do NOT use conditioner.
Step 2: Use coconut oil (or petroleum jelly) around hairline and on ears to prevent staining of the skin (optional).
Step 3: Remove bottle cap and inner seal.
Step 4: Wear protective gloves for application and pour desired amount into bowl.
Step 5: Apply color evenly with color brush. Begin at the root of the hair and work it evenly through to the ends. Start nape of the neck and work upwards through the head and be sure to completely saturate the hair shaft.
Step 6: Place a plastic cap over the hair and leave color on for at least 1/2 hour or more. Arctic Fox hair color will NOT damage your hair and has added conditioner, so leaving it on for longer will not hurt a thing.
Step 7: Rinse hair in tepid water thoroughly, until the water runs clear. For the first rinse, do not rinse hair while showering! Best bet is to rinse in the kitchen sink with cold water.
To prevent color bleeding make sure hair is completely dry before sleeping.

The best I've found so far
I have been using arctic fox for almost a year now. I have used to it maintain my hair in various shades of blue, purple, pink, and turquoise. I switched over from overtone because it was staining my hair, esp the dark blue. Arctic fox does not do this, but it also needs to be refreshed a bit more...

VIRGIN BLONDES - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !!!!
This product was an absolute nightmare ! Used this on my VIRGIN, all natural & very healthy dark ash blonde hair, from mid length to ends for a cool ombré effect. The color never washed out and it's been 8 months. I've tried multiple chelating shampoos, dandruff shampoo, the vitamin c treatment, etc...

GET IT NOW!!!
I absolutely LOVE this dye, it last forever, smells amazing, and makes my hair super soft, amazing colors. for staining issues I find makeup wipes work really well
Worked great
Dyed my hair myself. It was easy and results were salon quality. I used the color Virgin Pink. It did not bleeed onto my white hoodie. I have very long hair and I didn't run out of dye. Theres a lot in that bottle, i was surprised! My hair is dark strawberry blonde, yet the pink turned out really nice and vibrant! It hardly faded the first time i washed it. Smells nice too. Will use again. It does dye your countertop, sink, or bathtub when applying the dye. Its not a permanent stain tho. Overall no complaints, im happy!
worst hair color ever!!
will never buy again...and now my scalp is blue and hair isn't dyed.
Does not dye AT ALL
I wanted to dye my grey hairs around my edges (dont have many) and it did not dye them AT ALL. I let the product sit a few minutes longer than it says on the bottle and it still didnt take. All it did was stain my tub. It did not change my hair color AT ALL. Do not waste your money! And my roots looked blue after the first rinse, not black. But after the second rinse all of the color disappeared.
use on light hair if u want it to last
i have medium brown hair and used the violet dream dye- it made my hair really pretty but it only lasted like 3-4 washes, it stained my clothes, and was pretty uneven. overall not a great dye dont buy
