I missed perfume
I stopped wearing traditional perfume for a while because I was trying to be more mindful of ingredients, but I really missed wearing an actual perfume. I bought the travel size of SALT and immediately loved it. It's warm, musky, a little floral and just smells so good on my skin. I saw reviews saying it smells masculine or is too musky, but I don't get that at all. To me it smells warm, sexy and fresh without being overly sweet. My only complaint is I wish it projected a little more. I still catch hints of it in my hair and on my clothes throughout the day, but I wish I could smell it on myself more without having to look for it. Otherwise, I absolutely love the scent and definitely bought the full size.
Obsessed
The first time I sprayed this I wasn't sure. I thoght it smelled a little old lady perfumy. I gave it a second chance and I'm obsessed. I keep smelling my wrist. So summery but different and unexpected.
Different In A Good Way
I sprayed this on in-store today, and liked it. I'm very tired of all the florals and overly citrusy perfumes on the market. This smells more like a cologne for men, but in a way that is more feminine if that make sense (not too strong or overpowering). It didn't last too long on my skin so I downgraded my rating for it's lack of staying power, but I may buy the small bottle and give it another go.

I got Salt as a free sample to give it a try. I did not expect it to be my absolute favorite Ellis Brooklyn scent. It reminds me of sleeping out on my aunt's screened-in porch in California. The flowers in the landscaping, the salty breeze from the ocean. The scent is nostalgic and peaceful. I wear it at night and immediately relax. I can't sleep without it now. It lasts longer than the other scents I have. I love it so much that I bought the full bottle.
