I tried Salt after owning Sun Fruit and Apple Love and it doesn't disappoint! Salt is this perfect summer scent that smells refreshing and uplifting, energetic and wearable for all seasons although more for summer due to its notes. The lasting power is good. I love all my Ellis Brooklyn fragrances for its unique scent and beautiful packaging. The brand just jives with me.
Disappointing
I tried a sample of this scent and wore it a few times like i always do before making a judgement. I really dislike this, and it takes a lot for me to hate a perfume. It smells like soapy astringent air freshener and does not give beach vibes at all. I had family try it and none of them would take it either so it had to go in the bin.

I bought the sample set and when I sprayed salt, my knee jerk reaction was yuck; so I gave it to my daughter. A few days later, I kept noticing this absolutely intoxicating, dry-but-earthy and slightly sweet smell coming from her room. I was enchanted! I asked her what she had sprayed and when she told me it was salt, I instantly regretted my decision to let her have my sample vial. But I went ahead and ordered the travel size so it's all good!
