[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I've been burned enough times by liquid lipsticks that promise no transfer and then leave a full lip print on the first coffee cup, so the wear on this one has genuinely won me over, it sets down within a minute or two and then stays put thr...ough coffee, a full lunch and a day of talking without migrating, feathering at the edges or ending up on my mug, and touch-ups have essentially stopped being part of my day. The finish is the part that surprised me most though, it's matte but the soft blurring kind rather than the flat chalky kind, it gives lips a smooth diffused look that reads polished in person and photographs beautifully, without emphasizing every line the way drying mattes do. Comfort is the other pleasant shock, matte formulas usually turn my lips tight and papery by hour three, but this one stays comfortable and cushioned all day, and I'm not reaching for balm underneath it. It builds nicely too, one pass gives a soft natural wash of color and a second or third layer takes it to full opacity, so one tube covers both the school pickup version of me and the dinner out version. The applicator picks up the right amount without flooding. Honest notes, once it sets it genuinely sets, so blot and shape while it's still wet because fixing the line afterward means starting over. It wants a proper remover at the end of the day, water alone won't do it. And the long-wear formula suits smooth prepped lips best, so exfoliate first if yours run dry. For all-day color that stays exactly where you put it, this has been excellent and I'd recommend it.
