Nice tonic
This has a nice pleasant light scent - not to strong. I felt funny skipping the shampoo and I did use conditioner. My scalp felt very clean and tingly after using this. I like that this product is Cruelty-Free. Recommend

tough on build-up, gentle on skin (when used correctly)
I love this product! I struggle with depression, and I can get build up, this is great for when I need a little extra something, but have zero spoons because it only takes 3 minutes! just use it as directed and you shouldn't get chemical burns unless you have skin conditions that would cause that
Use on dry hair!
Its easier to get it on your scalp and keep it there! Leave on for 5 minutes, rinse and OMG. No residue, crazy volume, hair is soft and clean.

This is the holy heal in removing buildup from scalp. I had tried multiple shampoos and conditioners that claim to be clarifying to remove build up but with little to no success until I found this product. It works every time on my 4c texture hair that often suits in braids and protective styles that are prone to product buildup.
Removes buildup like a dream
I was skeptical because of all the mixed reviews, but because of the price i decided to try it out. I have a combination scalp, so i was looking for something that could get rid of the build up/dandruff and could keep my hair from getting too oily after only a couple of days. I have been using this product for about a month and i really like it. It makes my scalp feel super clean, removes most of the build up and helps control the oil. When i do not use it, i can tell a big difference. This is a definitely must try product, and you cant beat the price.
