Okay for the price
I have a rice perfume obsession and this seemed like a good option for the price point. At the opening, you do get an excellent basmati rice scent, along with a sweet creaminess. Ricey Mango
This is a good ricey mango scent. The rice provides a good starchy scent and the mango adds a decent amount of sweetness. I do wish the scent lasted longer. It fades fairly quickly.
Unique, Complex, and Absolutely Intoxicating
Though I was expecting a bit more of a fruit forward fragrance when I first sprayed the bottle, I'm far from disappointed with the outcome. Riz de Mangue is a rich, warm, velvety, milky gourmand scent with a soft almost tangy sweetness resembling a hint of it's namesake mango cutting through soft, starchy rice and sticky, smooth condensed milk that coats the tongue, sweetened and deepened with warm, heady vanilla that allows the scent to melt into your skin like a rich body butter. Though it's raw staying power leaves something desired, that's easily resolved with a bit of petroleum jelly or shea butter (cocoa butter adds another layer of richness and depth if you're looking to layer) and spraying onto freshly washed or damp hair to bloom with every swish of the strands. The first perfume I've actually been able to identify and understand the scent layers of, will absolutely be repurchasing.
Smells good, but not too mango-ey!
It definitely smells like the rice and condensed milk that come with the mango sticky rice dish, though the mango doesn't come out as much as I would have liked. I find layering this with my go-to Chai Epice by the same brand is a great combo. If you are looking for a more mango-scented perfume, I'd advise that this isn't the one for you. It smells great! Just very much so, like the creamy side of the dessert dish.

Not bad by any means, but glad I bought from Ulta so I can return bc it's not my taste.
Good Starchy Fragrance
This is a nice sweet and starchy fragrance. I wish it was stronger and the atomizer didn't leak but for the price I can't complain.
