Conair Reflections Lighted LED Compact Hollywood Mirror

I wish I could give this a lower rating. I have had this less than a month tried several times to turn on the lights with little success as the on switch location not working. The on switch on mine was located slightly above where they had indicated. The last time I tried to turn it on it broke in my hand getting the shards all over my hand and the space I was doing my makeup in.

I bought this for travel, since there's never enough light in hotel and airb&b rooms for me to do my makeup. The led lights on the mirror are basically decorative. They aren't powerful enough to light your face at all, so it's basically the same as using a regular compact mirror, except that it takes up more (precious!) space in my makeup bag because of the electronics. It has a magnified side and is easy to prop up on a table, which are good, but it doesn't make up for the flaws, or the cost. I wish i hadn't bought it.

I purchased this mirror just over two months ago since the lighting where I do my makeup isn't great. This is smaller than I wanted but I thought it would still do. The lights had been dimmer for several days recently and yesterday the light went out. I thought the battery must need changing so I bought new batteries but it still doesn't work. I'm disappointed it stopped working already. Unfortunately it's past the return window (and I didn't keep the packaging either).

I got this for travel, since i usually need more/better light for my makeup than there is in the room i'm staying in. Unfortunately, the lights seem to be purely decorative. They did nothing to illuminate my face or make it easier to see what I was doing. It's just as useful as an unlit mirror, but it takes up more space in my makeup bag (the electronics make it pretty thick). The only good thing is that it has a slightly magnified side and can stand up on its own. Overall, because of how bulky it is, it's a net negative, and i regret this purchase.
