Re:coil is recommended for 3A-4C hair. While, Definer gives a soft hold all day, requires reapplication to activate curls and can be applied on damp or dry hair; and it's recommended for all hair types. Both products are silicone-free, activates, defines and enhances curl patterns while offering humidity control and creates slight cast. Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I have very curly, dry coarse hair and this stuff is the holy grail. It keeps my hair hydrated and soft with well defined curls. I use this with the leave in conditioner and gel mouse. I can go days without washing now and use the gel mouse on refresh days. I'd recommend using this on very wet hair right out of the shower
Pump doesn't work
The pump wont pop open, I'm super disappointed, especially with this being pricey. I still twisted off the cap and tried some and it worked well so I wish i didnt have to return

i love this product for my wavy/curly hair- the result is soft bouncy curls
Formula change
This used to be my go to for styling, but not anymore since the formula change. The ingredients now contain Alcohol, which has dried out my hair. They said it was due to the Phenoxyethanol that was already in the ingredients, but before the formula change, my hair loved this, lasted for days, and never felt dry. Please bring back the old formula!
