What's happening to good makeup?! I researched one terrible (unnecessary) ingredient found in this: Limonene - quotes as a core component of volatile essential oils (like citrus peel oils - that burn!). Research says it's highly prone to causing skin sensitivity, especially once it is exposed to air. LIKE ON YOUR FACE?! When these volatile oils oxidize, they change from relatively harmless aromatic compounds into aggressive allergens. SO WHY PUT THIS IN IT? IS THIS INTENTIONAL?! The Volatile Oil Problem in Makeup (quote): • Oxidation Boosters: Every time a foundation pump or bottle is opened, air enters. This exposure rapidly turns limonene into hydroperoxides, which are the actual culprits behind contact dermatitis. SO IT'S MEANT TO OXIDIZE! PUT IN THERE ON PURPOSE? REALLY? HELLO ORANGE TINT?! • Trapped on the Skin: Unlike a rinse-off cleanser, foundation sits on your face for 8 to 12 hours a day. This extended contact gives volatile compounds ample time to disrupt the skin barrier. INTENTIONALLY PUT IN TO BURN OUR SKIN?! • Micro-Inflammation: Even if you don't see an immediate red rash, volatile oils can cause low-grade, invisible inflammation beneath the surface. Over time, this breaks down collagen and makes the skin generally more reactive. MEANT TO SILENTLY DAMAGE OUR SKIN BARRIER?! Because of this high risk for irritation, modern dermatology and clean beauty standards heavily favor fragrance-free or essential-oil-free color cosmetics, particularly for the base face layer. BUT NOT THIS ONE. LOOKS LIKE THEY WANT TO CAUSE PROBLEMS WITH IT?! SO MANY REVIEWS of ppl experiencing a reaction, burn or breakout or from this foundation and oxidation & orange tint? NO SURPRISE. THIS IS LIKELY WHY. Nars should know this; yet they actually added this to their product despite that! Time to ask the tough questions: do they want to give us harmful, inferior products & charge more money for it too? And... WHY?! I don't trust them and won't buy their products and you should boycott them too & spread the word... make it go viral. Looks like they are trying to silently harm us. Could that really be true?! If not, then remove it Nars!

I waited years to purchase this, and finally it went on sale. I bought Terre-Neuve, as my skin is extremely pale (I blend Clinique's Shell and Custard shades to create my perfect foundation match for less casual wear). I had been using another skin tint, but when I ran out I reached for this. It goes on more like a foundation than a tinted moisturizer, and a little goes a long way. But to my surprise, this lightest shade with "cool undertones" was too dark and way too yellow for my neutral/leaning cool skin tone. I looked jaundiced. Thankfully the powder I use evened it out, but I won't be repurchasing until Nars creates an actually very fair cool-toned shade. I remember that when I bought one of their earlier foundation formulas years ago, it was also too yellow. This tinted moisturizer lasted until late afternoon, when it started to cake in places. My skin is still oily/combination in my 40s, so your mileage may vary.

I have oily skin and this is an amazing product. Wish it was cheaper but it is defiantly worth it!

Goes on smoothly with a sponge and gives enough coverage to still look natural yet evened out. I have to have the SPF and it does not disappoint

This is a wonderful product, A little goes a long way. Just the lightest layering covers a myriad of flaws, It looks so natural, and lasts until whenever I decide to wash it off. It is light reflecting. You have to see it on in order to believe it.
