I used to have a pathetic looking ponytail
Is it a little difficult to maneuver the first few times, yes. Does it make your ponytail look Barbie doll full, indeed. I read a few reviews of people saying there was no change, but you do have to give your hair some texture to make a full impact with this product. Put in a wave, a curl, something...

Save your money
This does nothing that you can't do easily yourself, I was expecting major lift and oomph, and was very disappointed. I suggest you just make a pony in 2 sections, do a half up half down and secure with a hair tie, then create a pony by securing your loose hair and the hair that's already in a tie. ...

Impossible to insert
The concept is a nice idea, but it doesn't work. Inserting it into the split in your ponytail is absolutely impossible. It pops right out. Also, get ready for your hair tie to get pulled waaaay too tight. This was a useless waste of money.

Hair Type Straight Hair
Bought this to beef up my ponytail which obviously means my hair is thin. The idea behind this is that you can dig the pointed end into your ponytail holder to help bring volume to the ponytail holder. Not gonna happen. I would not recommend if your hair is thin and straight.
Let me help
Please dont do this. What you need is called a hair bump, or hair rat. smh you know this thing looks good and easy but cmon. Work with the bump. Don't let them sell you on a hair plunger.
Don't give up!
I was so excited for this and my first 5 times trying to use it, I failed miserably. I read some of the reviews and finally got the hang of it and its as good as it gets! I think the trick for me was that I was intially wrapping the elastic around too many times and that made the middle of the pony too small/tight for for the pick. Wrap it around no more than twice and you'll be golden!
doesn't work!
i can't even get it to stay in my ponytail. i was so excited to have a little volume added, as i'm often a ponytail and go gal, but even if i could get it to stay in it would probably show b/c i have long, thin hair. ugh!
