Hi-I need a no shimmer/glitter paint pot for green eyes and fair skin. Wondering if Taylor grey or one of the neutral beiges would work better. Open to other suggestions but I'm 45 so no shimmer.
- Asked by Jill
- Official Answer By MACGreat question! We suggest MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot Cream Eyeshadow in the shades Tailor Grey or Painterly to enhance your green eyes. These shades will even look great combined with Tailor Grey applied through your crease and Painterly applied to your lid with a MAC 217 Synthetic Eyeshadow Blending Brush for an airbrushed finish. Was this answer helpful to you

Highly Versatile!
Originally I purchased this in Constructavist to be a strong base colour for my darker shadows and it worked beautifully. It wasn't till I tried the shade Painterly, however, that the product's full potential was revealed. I now use that shade as my only eyelid primer. It creates a smooth base that ...

Colors, texture coverage vary
I purchased three of these a couple of weeks ago after having previously tried some colors. Overall here is the review of each color I have: Painterly- Good basic eye base or for those days when you want bare but not red eyelids. It has no sparkle but doesn't give a matte dry look. Works well under ...

Its easy to use and Id buy again!
This is the absolute BEST eye shadow cream Ive ever used! It doesn't crease and is moist and creamy.
I now understand the hype
This is a perfect one and done shadow if I'm in a hurry. It covers the darkness and veins on my eyelids. However, 95% of the time I'm using it as a base and my eyeshadow looks are definitely better with this as a base. I took a chance and bought it and will continue using it daily. I also feel like the pot will last at least a year with daily use. So, the price vs longevity is good. If you catch on sale, even better.
I would buy this again
I love how creamy this eye shadow is. It goes in easy and stays put. It doesn't crease or smudge. It has nice pigment. I bought two different shades. I use the painterly for my primer and base color.
Still love this product
I've been using this product since I was in my late 20s/early 30s. Still love it! Application is easy and smooth. Minimal creasing on my skin. I wish they had a larger variety of colors. I feel like there were more options when i first discovered it The only con is even if it's kept airtight, it will eventually get dry and cakey. Tip: try stirring it with a small make up spatula and press it back/reshape it to make it smooth. Most of mine just needed to be mixed to get back to the original consistency. I think the oil settles in the bottom over time
Confused
Not sure why people like this so much. Its gard to get out of thd tubbsbd its drying. I preder BB or Malley sticks.
