The cans says it's a "finishing spray" and to use as a final step in the hair styling process. So several times I died and curled my hair then used this product and it did not seem to make a difference on the final look. I then got to thinking how the product is also marketed as a heat protectant, so it don't make sense to use it last. I then tried drying my hair, spraying, then curling and it worked slightly better. Pros: light weight, it doesn't make my fine hair greasy. It makes the tips of my hair less frizzy. The scent is nice and not over powering. Cons: mid day my hair seemed frizzier. The spray is also very thick and lingers in the air. I've been trying to move towards more powdered products rather than aerosol to try to prevent breathing in so many chemicals. Bottom line: I wouldn't purchase again or recommend to a friend.
