4 Stars, but Hoping for Higher - Read Why

Up front disclosure: I received this hair care from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to use and provide an honest review. About me and my hair: I'm a 50+ yr old gal with a super thick head of highlighted, menopausal (dry/frizzy) hair. I like really good hair products at a good price. By "really go...

Volcano candle!

I will start with the first and most obvious thing I noticed about this shampoo - it's smell. It is a clone to the Anthropologie volcano candle. If that's your thing - run!!! This is for you. In my case, it is not my thing. Don't get me wrong, I love a good smelling shampoo - I'm just a much more su...

Received this as part of a panel and loved the smell. The shampoo came out thick but didn't weigh my hair down. I also loved the bottle.

Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this conditioner to try out and review. Right off the bat the packaging is sleek and easy to use and it have a great, light citrus/fruity scent. It lathers up really well and makes my hair easy to comb out once I get out do the shower. It makes my hair feel clean without feeling stripped or dried out. I use heat tools in my hair 6/7 days a week so I was so excited to try out a new product that helps with heat damage. Once I dried my hair and styled it my hair was super shiny and smelt amazing. I still need to try it out a few more weeks to see if it really helps with damage but my hair has styled really well since using it!

Amazing Smell!

This shampoo is amazing, and I love everything about this (except for the packaging, which is not eco-friendly and why I gave it four stars). Hot Tools Pro Artist Restorative Heat Care Cleanse and Repair Shampoo is in two words: almost perfect. It smells like a sweet, clean almond or some other delicious, candy-like scent. It transforms the shower into a premium spa-like experience just from the smell. The shampoo itself suds up very well and is easy to rinse out, so my strands feel sleek and cleaned but not entirely stripped after I rinse this out. As I said, it's almost perfect except for the solid plastic packaging (it is recyclable, but not everywhere). Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this hair care.

Amazing shampoo to use with heat tools

Hair Type Straight Hair

I received the Hot Tools Pro Artist™ Restorative Heat Care Cleanse and Repair Shampoo through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have tried a variety of shampoos that specify areas that they focus on (i.e. volume, moisturizing, etc.). Hot Tools Pro Artist™ Restorative Heat Care Cleanse and Repair Shampoo is the first shampoo that I've used that is specifically targeting heat care. I was excited to test it out, since I blow dry my long, straight hair often. The bottle fits perfectly in the niche in my bathroom. I love the way it looks. The bottle is simple, with pops or gold and black. It elevates my shower stall with its sleek and minimalist design. I like the consistency of the shampoo. It is thick enough to feel like it is easy to lather and massage into my hair and scalp, but not to think that it is just a glob. It is easy to apply. The smell is refreshing without being overpowering. It smells natural, but not too earthy. I am vegan and love that this shampoo uses vegan proteins! My hair feels so smooth and healthy after using Hot Tools Pro Artist™ Restorative Heat Care Cleanse and Repair Shampoo. It dries really well too. After almost a month of use my hair feels stronger (no development of split ends) and less heavy than it ever has. I tried the shampoo several days when I let my hair air dry and it still was the best my hair has felt in a long time. I highly recommend trying Hot Tools Pro Artist™ Restorative Heat Care Cleanse and Repair Shampoo if you style your hair with heat tools!
